What's up, what's up, what's up, what's up? It's your boy TJ, aka TJ with the sauce.
SPEAKER_00Hey you guys, this is your girl, Ash the aka Ash the Great.
SPEAKER_01And niggas, we are back. Um, feels like forever, but we are back.
SPEAKER_00Um only skipped a week.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we skipped the week and and it was for good reason.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_01Um, if you want to go ahead and let the people know, because this is all you boo.
SPEAKER_00Yes. So my parents had renewed their vows. Beautiful day, beautiful day. Um, beautiful gowns, beautiful friends, beautiful families. And it was Rita. Beautiful, beautiful gowns. Um, yeah, 32 years married, 35 years together. The day was absolutely beautiful. And it prouds me to say uh Mr. Steele over here and Diamond were in, um, they were present during that joyful celebration, and it was very well appreciated. My family loves TJ and they love Diamond. I mean, Diamond has been in our life for a very long time, but TJ has quickly became family, so it was amazing to celebrate that gesture of love with my friends in attendance. And even some of my friends from out of town, like shout out to Allie and Maya from Atlanta and St. Louis.
SPEAKER_01They are a hoot, by the way. They are woo. That that little car ride that we had, baby. I was like, woo.
SPEAKER_00All I remember is spin that shit.
SPEAKER_01Spin that shit. We gotta say this. When we first heard the song on the fucking podcast, right? We called the shit garbage. We did. We called that shit garbage, hot ass garbage. But and you could always say this about the black paradigm. We will come back if we're wrong, if we eat, we can eat our own shit, okay? Like we we will we eating it. Um, but that song has grown on me and Ashley.
SPEAKER_00Listen, we are definitely eating this shit. It's giving two girls one cup eat shit. You remember that? Two girls one cup eating shit.
SPEAKER_01Listen, yo Miami, you you did your thing. You you did your thing, and she got a sped up version, she got a slow version. I mean, I think it's so many versions of the song, and I think honestly, it really is a contender for Song in the Summer. I think Yeah, and that other song by yeah, elderly people.
SPEAKER_00I've seen videos of um like people in so many different career sectors, walks of life, just spin that shit. Spin that shit. And this uh, and I think it's important too because one thing about you have to think, some of the best art and literature that came from black people was during the Harlem Renaissance, the Great Depression era. Yeah, and I don't give a damn what the economy says, what the government says. I know what my wallet and what the people around me say and what I lived experience. Oh, this little thing that flew on my damn computer. I know what that says. It's these little bugs back here. And I'm gonna spray again. But um, I know what my wallet says, and we are in another Great Depression. We can't, you know, people are foreclosing our homes and nowhere to live. Gas, as soon as you get it, it's gone. Groceries high, you know, um, entertainment's high, you know, a lot of us walk around here high, everything high, right? So to have a song that's just like, it makes you forget.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00It's it makes you forget about it.
SPEAKER_01It makes you forget about what is actually going on. But also, with that song being so popular, right, it takes me back to 2009, you know, beginning of that recent. Like it does, it just takes me back, like, okay, these other times we're in, bitch, you gotta scam. Like, you you gotta make your money. Some kind of way, you gotta make your money. And that's what is giving. And the reason why a lot of these, and I'll add to this, the reason why a lot of these artists are going on tour, child, is because, baby, they have to make money. And then a lot of these concerts are not selling out because ain't nobody got no money.
SPEAKER_00Ain't nobody got no money, but a lot of y'all is going on tour. Y'all know do shit as it is anyway. What am I paying for? Okay, I'll be crying.
SPEAKER_01Because when I listen, when I go to a show, I don't want to, I'm not singing your song. You're gonna sing the fucking song. I don't.
SPEAKER_00What the fuck is wrong with Daniel Caesar? Like, you finna get canceled again, my nigga. What is he doing? I didn't even what the fuck? Oh, I thought you were, so he went to, was it the Philippines? Yes. Uh-huh. And you know, angel people in the Philippines, they can sing and they like RB music.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You booked, you um performed on the concert. You made, you, you pulled a Justin Bieber and nigga. You thought you was bigger than the program. You were sitting down making these people sing your songs, and you just left halfway through your performance while your background singers were still singing, not knowing what was going on.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he he's gonna have to take a break because his brain is fried. It's giving. Well, I mean, it's just giving. Ever since he did that, pulled that little stint that first time, talking about it. But I just I think he just needs to take a break. I I I do love that song with him and Brandy. I think it's that's an amazing song. His and his and his artistry is is is amazing. But it's him.
SPEAKER_00It's him. His fucking catalog is immaculate. And I am a Daniel Caesar fanatic by catalog. I would never pay to see him in concert just because of the anti. Like his album that came out in 2023, that Never Enough album. My God. Of course, I love Freudian. Case Study was a good album. Hell, I love Pilgrim's Fucking Paradise that came out in 2015. His newest body of work with his dad on the cover, son of Spurgey. Fucking amazing. But he's just a sh, I think he just comes to point. You're just a shit individual.
SPEAKER_01Well, um moving on. Our email is the blackparadigm77 at gmail.com. Once again, for you niggas in the back, uh, our email is the blackparadigm77 at gmail.com. Uh, but yeah, I I I agree with everything you just said about Daniel Caesar. Um art is immaculate, the music is immaculate, but it's just it's just him. And as y'all can tell, I'm stuffy as fuck. Because, you know, living in Tennessee, living in the South, you know, it's just shit happens, you know, allergies just all the time. And I made sure that I got my Zertec D. So, yeah, that's what's going on right now.
SPEAKER_00But I'm doing the same, y'all.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Speaking of that, um, how is your well, I guess I'll talk about my mental health. Um, mental health is been this last, this last week has been really good. I've watched a lot of movies. Shout out to AMC Stubbs. If you ain't got it, get it. Um, or if you don't have an AMC called Orregal Club, I want to say Oregal. Um, I've seen uh Boosters. I have seen, yes, seen boosters. I have seen um God is God is, yes.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna talk about that on Twice to Fire.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Goddess, boosters, what else did I see? Obsession, which a lot of y'all people are going crazy. Like it was a good movie. It was a it was a really good movie, but his.
SPEAKER_00But that was never seen to see y'all for a lifetime.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Everyone's trying to make this. If I had a choice of movies that I was gonna choose, it would be God is over obsession. Because here's the thing. God is had so much.
SPEAKER_00I think it's is God is.
SPEAKER_01It's layers. Is God is that what I said is God is. Yeah, is God is. It had so many kind of like premonitions, right? Of what was gonna happen or what they were trying to tell you in the story, right? It had so many Easter eggs in the movie. Um and we'll get to it on Twice the Fire. But Obsession, like I it isn't listen, if you want a good horror thriller movie, yes. That that is, but I can't, I can't give it more than that. Like, I gave the movie an eight out of ten. I thought it was really good for a horror movie, you know. But everyone on Twitter and Threads is like, oh my God, it's just a masterpiece.
SPEAKER_00Black people can't have shit. Because you can you can come, you can come up with 10 white movies with that same fucking plot. There's nothing out there like his God is. There's nothing out there like I love boosters. Michael is the biggest uh biopic of all time, and I've seen that twice. Oh my god, we've talked about it already, but I'll talk about shit again. I went back and saw it an additional time, fucking amazing. Jafar Jackson did his thing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, like I said before, it was hard for me to differentiate who I was looking at sometimes. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Yeah, loved it. Like, yeah, oh my God, but it's just like every time black y'all did the same shit with Sanders, y'all try to compare Sanders with every fucking mediocre ass white movie that was out, and I'm sick of you bitches.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, they try to compare centers to Marty Supreme, and I'm just like That was the movie.
SPEAKER_00Fucking, and let's be clear. The only reason why niggas was that Marty wanted to watch Marty Supreme for real was because Tyler Okunema was in that. And I probably said your last name wrong, but you know who I'm talking about. Tyler the creator. Didn't nobody give a fuck about Timothy Chalamet and his one-dimensional acting. I mean, uh, girl.
SPEAKER_01You gotta call you call it, you gotta call it what it is.
SPEAKER_00Tyler's spray to spade.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I didn't give a damn about that movie but to see Tyler walk his fine ass on my screen, which I pray he gets into more acting, and I pray that he gets a leading role because outside of him, I didn't give a damn about that movie. Nobody in that I didn't care about fucking Timothy Chalamet. I didn't care about Odessa Ozian cosplaying a white Middle Eastern. I didn't give a damn about Glorineth Paltrow. I didn't give about give a damn about nobody else in that movie.
SPEAKER_01Shout out to Tyler the Creator, though.
SPEAKER_00Shout out to Tyler the creator. Oh, love him. I would love to interview him one day. Love him, Zal, my fellow Pisces brother. Love him.
SPEAKER_01Um so yeah, I am also, I'm feeling good. I am I'm about to make a change in my job. Uh I am, I'll let y'all know in a couple of weeks. But your boy is transitioning into, and this is a peace of mind. Like the transition is peace of mind. It is learning new things, new obstacles. Um, and I'm excited. I won't tell y'all what it is uh right now, but I'm excited. So, yes, this week has been really good. Really good.
SPEAKER_00I love that for you, friend.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. What about you, girl?
SPEAKER_00Uh ciao. I'm gonna go cry in this hole. My mental health is uh I feel uh again, and y'all have been saying I'm gonna go cry in this hole. Um it's just been had a high, then I had two really low lows, like to experience a highlight that, then to have two lows come behind it was just like you just kind of feel like it negates each other in a way. Um I don't know. I'm like I told TJ before we came on air, for me, I'm just doing everything that I can not have another flare-up or a repeat because through prayer and meditation and just self-reflection and doing my shadow work that I've been working on, I tend to repeat a lot of bad cycles. So, in order for me to make the changes that I want to make, to become a better person all around, and to just feel like I'm growing past where I always get stuck at. I just cannot get stuck there. And I get stuck where I'm at, and I don't want to get stuck there anymore. But my mental health is just right now, I just feel like I'm just going along to get in the law because let me tell you something. When you hate your fucking job, bro, it's just it gets harder to be on time, it gets harder to to not. I just want to say, fuck all y'all. Y'all are really dumb, for real. But I don't say that because I'm gonna have a job. To be thankful, but to still just be in the place where you just like, I'm so sick of looking at you motherfuckers every day. I'm sick of doing my job. I get physically ill every Monday morning, every Sunday night. I work to be off and earn PCO, so I can be off. And I just I just don't give a damn. Like, I don't know. I'm just I'm just floating right now. That's all I can say. One day I'll be hopefully sooner than later, I'll be in a job that I really like as compensating me well. But today ain't that day. But I'm here.
SPEAKER_01Well, I see you, friend. And we we we've talked off air, and everything that is about to happen for you is going to happen. I know patience is something that you know me and you both do not like, but at the same time, um it's gonna happen. You're gonna get that offer letter, and that offer letter is going to be immaculate.
SPEAKER_00Hey man, I received that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um yeah. So give us give us Ashley's corner, baby.
SPEAKER_00So Ashley's Corner is more of a serious topic. Um black people in particular. Well, you know what? I would say when it comes to drinking, this is gender specific, but just in general. We need, and I'm talking to myself, right? Because for me, my vice is food. We need healthier vices, like I don't care if it's childhood trauma, sexual trauma, career career trauma, relationship, whatever the hell it is. Like, we cannot use drugs or alcohol to cope anymore. We can't. Y'all need to talk to that lady, and I'm specifically talking to black men, especially the heterosexual ones. Talk to that fucking lady on that couch. Um it's just become a tyrant, have to be somebody's punching bag, or to watch somebody you love just act the fuck out of character and turn into somebody you don't know because of advice, because they haven't dealt with certain traumas. Um Yeah, that's that's that's Ashley's corner. If you have a fucking problem, um, black men don't need therapy, black people don't need therapy. Yes, the fuck you do. Yes the fuck you do.
SPEAKER_01We're the main ones that need therapy.
SPEAKER_00We're the main ones that need therapy. Um and sometimes trauma is epigenetic. It's inherited. Um you might not know why you respond or tr or you have certain triggers, but it's it's getting old and tired to watch the people that you love just kind of disintegrate away from their anger or because they're uh not facing the things that they should face. And it's like I'm not finna sit by and watch it no more. Um yeah, it's fucking old and tired. To watch somebody that you really love and respect just over a substance is just fucking nuts. Um but yeah, deal, whether it's food, sex, drinking especially is really bad. That's why they call it spirits, smoking weed, um whatever the whatever the fuck it is, get a handle on that. It's not healthy. Outside of affecting you, which people can see, it affects the people that you love very dearly. It affects how people perceive you, it affects how people want to spend time with you, it affects how people invite you to things, like it affects a lot.
SPEAKER_01I was um looking at this video or whatever, and this dude was like, Like, oh, people think I'm so angry, you know, when I'm standing in a corner myself, you know, cornered by myself. He was like, no, he was like, I just I'm just high. She was like, because that helps me cope with being around big, large groups of people. And I remember this black woman under his post was like, that means you need to seek therapy, black man. You need to, like, you you have some underlying issues that you need to resolve. And he said, and she said, um, and I'm not trying this not a bad thing, she said, but you need to go get, you know, you need to go talk to that lady. You need to go talk to someone that is not your family, your friends, because you waking up, the first thing you're talking about smoking a blunt, or the first thing you can think of is getting high. That is not that's like, listen, I love, I I love, I love a good old edible. But at the same time, can I go a week without it? I can. I can. I don't need to have an edible every day. I don't need to have, and I know some people do that, but at the same time, are you doing it because it's there or are you doing it because, like, what, why do you need it so much? You see what I'm saying? If you're doing it because you don't want to lose your shit at your job, cool. Then that means we need to start looking at other jobs. We need to start putting them resumes in. Because if you're getting high just so you can deal with everything at work, that's not good.
SPEAKER_00That's a problem. Like, that's why, you know, drinking is very, it's it's a generational curse of my family. It, especially on the men on a certain side. Like, we've had two of my uncles die from cirrhosis, uh cirrhosis of the fucking liver, because they literally drank themselves to fucking death. So for me, I know when I'm, when I'm, if I've had a hard day and I reach for a glass of wine, oh, oh no. That's why for me, I only drink when I'm with my friends or socially or if it's a happy occasion because I don't want to associate sad or upset with, oh, bitch, you need to drink. Fuck no, because again, and I'm a Pisces. I naturally have an addictive personality. I get a hold of some shit that I like, that's what I do with food. Shit that I like, I get addicted to and keep doing it because I feel like it's a control thing. But alcohol, no, I don't even like dealing with men who drink. Not even as crazy as one of my last ones was. He's a fucking nutcase, but he didn't drink. I can't deal with that breakdown no more. I can't deal with it. So it's just like, mm-mm. I but specifically, and and I think this is where, especially, and I know this really doesn't have anything to do with the topic, but it does correlate. Because a lot of times you hear black women, specifically straight black women who desire relationships, romantic relationships with straight black men. Overall, black men don't do the fucking work. You don't want to go to therapy, you don't want to talk to nobody, you don't want to find out it's just, oh well, this is how I am. This doesn't have to be how you fucking are the entire like you can change this. But I've been skinny before, I can get skinny again. Like, but yeah, I was in therapy for over a year. Working on my fucking issues, and I still have work to do. The only reason why I'm not in therapy is because one, I got dropped from my services, and two, my therapist quit. As soon as I get a job with other insurance, I'm getting back in fucking therapy. I don't have surface level conversations with my friends. We talk.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So it's just like black men don't majority of them because heterosexual black men do not do the fucking work. So outside of just the shit that black women deal with in dating that's exclusive to our race, we deal with the whole generation of fucking men who don't believe in sitting on nobody's couch. Because that's not what black people do.
SPEAKER_02Oh. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Well, speaking of uh black men needing therapy, uh Kevin Hart uh went on the Breakfast Club and um that called some uh some interesting um commentary on the Breakfast Club because you know they were questioning him about the roast with 12, what was it, 12 white uh writers or something like that? No black writers at all. Um people were questioning him about the that that hencliffe Nazi dude who the fuck he was. Um and then, you know, he was like, you know, it it was my production. I'm like, okay, your production, why did you pick those people then? If it was your production, because he literally said that on the Breakfast Club, it's my production. So you had to know who was going to roast you. So you said, oh, it's okay to have a person that's a fucking Nazi that is sitting up here making jokes about George Floyd.
SPEAKER_00A man whose funeral you were at, by the way, that you recorded yourself there by the American government. I I it's nothing that short man does surprises me.
SPEAKER_01And this is why I see why this is why I now know like that just why Cat Williams is the way he is towards him. Because you just a fucking sucker. Like he's a you're a sucker for money. Like you are a sucker.
SPEAKER_00Like, I don't know. Like I like I've always been under the um, I've always said that nigga ain't been funny since his ex-wife, his black wife stopped writing his jokes.
SPEAKER_01Well, apparently she was writing. Oh apparently most of his apparently most of his uh stand-up, you know, his first stand-up was basically her. You know, it I listen. And I and I hate I hate that because we're talking about someone that is when he first came out, we were like, we were going to the movies, we were going to the theaters to see, you know, his movies and stuff.
SPEAKER_00It's just it was just always subscribing to Netflix just to watch his specials.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I think this brings on a bigger conversation with black capitalism and black elitism, because the sad part is eight out of ten black celebrities feel and identify just like Kevin Hart once they hit a certain bracket. I mean, when you look at our blacks black celebrities, when you look at black celebrities like um Snoop Dogg or Nelly's or the fucking Tiffany Haddish, it's just disappointing. And it's like, you niggas get a little money, a little class, and a little bit of welcome to the country club. You just want nigga, it wasn't nothing funny. And you and I think the telling thing was when I because I couldn't watch the whole special. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So I watched clips and I fast forward. Look, every time I would look at an audience of his black peers, especially on wasn't nobody fucking laughing, because it wasn't shit funny. Just like I really need people to sit up here and stop. Oh, Cat Williams was the funniest comedian. It was funny, but nothing he said was a joke because the shit was fucking true.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And yet again, I see Cat Williams on that couch with Shannon Sharp, and he is vindicated yet again. He had every right to feel like he did about your ass.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Because you you you became a sucker. You became a sucker for Hollywood, and you let those people tell you how to run your own production.
SPEAKER_00But I don't even think it's so much of I TJ, I'm surprised if they if they didn't tell his ass if he wanted to just, ooh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because he's the type of person.
SPEAKER_00He's the type of person, yeah. And then I think the thing that kills me was you just took no accountability. And I always think to my I put stuff in the lens of black and white, and I put stuff in the lens of man and woman. I'm no fan of Tiffany Haddish. I think I don't think just because you act, you know, stereotypical or you're obnoxious that that makes you funny. But had Tiffany Haddish done it, she would have been crucified. Had a black woman, like maybe a Leslie Jones or a Wanda Sykes or Monique moved this way, like Kevin Hart's moving in terms of a comedy special with white comedians, they would have been fucking crucified. But you know, we hold our men in our community to a different stand than we do women. Look at how they treated Snoop Dogg, Nellie, and Soulz were for performing and not an and at the inauguration versus K Michelle. Not K Michelle, excuse me.
SPEAKER_01Chrissette Michelle.
SPEAKER_00Yes. I'm like, hold on now. No, hold on. She ain't finna be my ass.
SPEAKER_01Chrissette Michelle. Yeah, she, and I don't even I haven't heard anything from Chrissette Michelle since that, since the inauguration.
SPEAKER_00That lady, they gave that lady a mental illness.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um, but there there was a reason why certain comedians weren't there. Monique wasn't there. Leslie. Um, Leslie Jones wasn't there. I mean, there were certain comedians that was like, well, damn. But then I forgot that Monique had called Kevin for a favor, and Kevin never reached out, I guess. You know, when she was talking to Shannon Sharp, and she was just like, Yeah, she never reached out, and you know, I'm done with it. So I just feel like when you when you surround yourself with yes, man. And I think that's what his team is about. It's all just like, yeah, that's funny, Kevin. Yeah, you should do that, you should do that. You lose the authentic uh authenticness of yourself.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that authenticity is out the fucking window.
SPEAKER_01And I didn't like what he said to Lauren on the Breakfast Club. Lauren was like, Did you see my interview with uh so-and-so? He was like, No, I didn't. He was like, and I'm just letting you know I'm not gonna watch it. I'm never gonna watch it. And I'm like, why did you like what are we doing right now? You didn't have to say, oh. He was like, I just want to let you know I'm never gonna watch it. Okay, cool. We got it. You said you didn't see it.
SPEAKER_00Shut the f up. Like, like it gave bitch. It really did. It literally gave bitch. Because all the things is this. You could just say, no, I didn't watch it. Because why did you have to put emphasis on? I'm never going, okay, bitch ass nigga. And we and black people, we should never watch your shit again ever. But you but at this point, you don't care about having a black audience. You made that abundantly clear.
SPEAKER_01He don't care. If you care, you wouldn't have never invited, you would have never had those people on your roast.
SPEAKER_00And from Charlamagne, a black man to have a a podcast, the um, what is it, the brilliant idiots with what's the watch? Andrew Schultz, and I can't stand his smug ass either.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But for even Charlemagne, with some of his problematic ass tastes, even like, bro, what the fuck was that? That says a lot. That says a lot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. It's coming from Charlemagne on that podcast. Yeah, that that that says a lot. Um, but yeah, um, Kevin, uh, yeah. Yeah. Moving on. Um, so apparently there's a $1.8 billion uh reparations package for the January 6th. Um all the people that were crucified by the government at that time. And um I'm gonna tell y'all like this. They move so fast when they're trying to take away black rights, our voting rights, our rights in general. But they have never because this right here, this $1.8 billion for white people. Or whoever was in the January 6th was it was mostly white people.
SPEAKER_00White people. Um It's a fucking joke, bro.
SPEAKER_01It it said it says a lot uh about how fast the government can move.
SPEAKER_00When black people in this country don't even have a um uh hate bill, just what is going on with my phone? Apple bitch, I'm sick of you ho. You gotta go. Cause what the hell what the hell was that? I'm saying looking at my damn notes and a random sound. I'm sick of I'm so sick of Apple. Apple, I'm sick of you, bitch. But um I want an Asian phone so bad. My god. Um what was I okay, we were talking about eight 1.8 billion dollars for white people. Um you know what, white people are this shit frustrated me to no end. It just goes to just show just again how they think about us and shit. And nothing about them should fucking shock me, but it always ceased to amazes me. And I like I I'm ready for the first to become last and last to become first. Ain't that what the Bible say? But I I'm I I wanna see it in this because just the sh the games y'all fucking play with people. That's why I I'm really starting to be, you can't say nothing about No, fuck that. Jewish people can can get Holocaust, you know, reparations off the Holocaust, the days of remembrance. But when you but when the black person tells you, hey, we went in chattel slavery for a hundred years, shut the fuck up. Y'all got black history month. And y'all complain about that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Y'all complain about Black History Month, y'all complain about Juneteenth. First of all, we shouldn't have made Juneteenth a federal holiday. That's just my opinion.
SPEAKER_00Because now, you know, people that don't want to have Juneteenth festivals and when I seen this white guy make Juneteenth t-shirts, the the colors of the Pan-African flag. It's not a fucking Pan-African holiday. The colors of Juneteenth are black, are red, white, and fucking blue. And it's and and and specifically, it's celebrating the black people who were freed in fucking Gavinson, Texas.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's not a dia like I'm so sick of seeing Juneteenth Afrobeast parties. It's not a fucking diaspora party either. We don't so we don't go in there and in that bitch celebrate Nigerian Independence Day.
SPEAKER_01I'm fucking or Haitian Independence Day. Because we, as black Americans, we're just tired of the. I feel like we give respect to every, even though we are all in the same diaspora, right? I feel like black Americans respect the hell out of everybody else's culture. But when it comes to our fucking culture, and it's been like that for four years, everybody just wants to jump in. Well, culture is for everybody, not you. This is not a you thing. This is a black American thing. Black Americans created this like we created techno, like we created house, like we created country. This is not culture is for everybody.
SPEAKER_00That's I just it if it baffles me when you see, like, for instance, the it's a it, and I've had this cake. I being a black, being a black girl that was raised in a military household, going to a black high school, I've had um, I don't know the sp if I see it, I can go to a Hispanic bakery right now and get the square piece of cake with the sprinkles. White people are calling the shit dot cake or the impossible, the what is it, the impossible cake. It's fucking flawed. They're calling Horchata, Orchata, because the age is silent, I always forget that. They're calling Orchata spicy rice latte. Bitch, are you fucking serious?
SPEAKER_02And Horchata is an absolute.
SPEAKER_00And not just, and black people just watch it like this. But we get a cloud for a cloud bomb, bitch, a fro. Like I tell anybody, especially my young babies, if you're listening to Auntie Ashley High, if you want to learn what I'm talking about in a funny on a grander scale, I tell everybody to watch Bring It On. You put your blonde hair on to call them something else. That to me, the bring I watched Bring It On. Bring it on came out when I was six years old, six or seven. I understood what that shot that shit was talking about back then in 2000.
SPEAKER_01Bring it on is one of the best examples of what people, other races do to black culture, to black Americans.
SPEAKER_00Because I love boosters. But y'all miss it because of the colors.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I love boosters with so God. We'll get into it. We'll get into it.
SPEAKER_00Y'all just want to dance.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Oh, Lord. But yeah, I think every black person should apply for those funds, that $1.8 billion. Um, like Gavin Newsom said in California, he was like, I'm gonna tax y'all 100% on that motherfucker. Whoever he said, whoever gets that, he was like, I'm gonna tax y'all 100%.
SPEAKER_00But the sick part about that is imagine if by happiness sake they said we're giving black people reparations, then the one drop rule would exist. Of course. That's why I fucking hate the one drop rule. If you do not present as phenotypically black, or if you cannot take a DNA test and say, hey, I'm 50% or more, bitch, you gas to go. You know.
SPEAKER_01But anyway, but no, it's just everybody wants to be a nigga until it's time to be a nigga.
SPEAKER_00But see, then the video footage of you white motherfuckers climbing the White House wall on taste will become valid. Oh, we seen you there, brother. You get some of this 1.8 billion. But when we were showing that shit in the court, oh I didn't see nothing. Tell me Lee wasn't there. The bitch was right there shooting at the security guard near the White House. It's right there. Okay. But it works to get him some of that $1.8 billion. Oh.
SPEAKER_01Black people apply for that $1.8 billion. Whatever you gotta do, just like the honey, that boyfriend was like.
SPEAKER_00At this point.
SPEAKER_01Because how is this even like things that are being done in this administration? If Obama would have done it, let me tell you something. Oh, if Obama would have done 5% of what this administration is doing now.
SPEAKER_00Jay crucified this man for wearing a tan fucking suit.
SPEAKER_01Said that, told him that he wasn't presidential. For wearing that tan motherfucking suit. Which, by the way, looks fly as hell on his ass.
SPEAKER_00He ain't sitting here decomposing and decaying away like the current president we got in office. But y'all got and shitting on himself on live TV. Sleeping shit.
SPEAKER_01Oh bastard. I just, I just think.
SPEAKER_00White people, they they they're so they're so insatiable. Nothing fulfills them. There is no end that has not been turned. If they get this 1.8 billion, then they'll want something else.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's just like they wanna, they, they, there are white people that want to control the narrative for black people. Everywhere. Everywhere you go, they want you to be in control of your narrative, of your life story. And it's like, wow. You say build your own communities. We did that. You drowned them or you torched them. Oh, that wasn't us. Well, who was it? Who was it? The gingerbread man nigga? Like, what the fuck is we talking about? It's here. It's here in the books. Oh, we don't know where those books came from. Oh, I forgot. You're trying to erase history. You're trying to get all those books thrown out.
SPEAKER_00I already said, next time I'm back in Atlanta, I'm not gonna get in late linear because I'm not finna disrespect my ancestors like that. But I don't know. White people pick me, I'm just gonna spray you, spray niggas with late linear water. Like my app, like my uh favorite. Just be taken care of. Just get a later very soon. Just get a little cup of late linear water. Have the day. Swish, swish, swish, bitch. Have the fucking day. You just remember.
SPEAKER_01Have you heard anything about that amusement, that water uh amusement part that they were supposed to be?
SPEAKER_00I haven't heard a thing about it.
SPEAKER_01Hello?
SPEAKER_00None of my black ass nieces. I don't give a damn. You might think, uh-uh, you will not be going there. I wouldn't. Lake Lanier?
SPEAKER_01No, ma'am. I mean, you mean Oscarville? I don't think so. I don't think so.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Look, Central Park, Seneca Village.
SPEAKER_01Hello.
SPEAKER_00Uh-uh. What is that?
SPEAKER_01Look it up. You got a bone right there in your face.
SPEAKER_00No can do. I tell you, you won't be fucking going. But like I said, next time I'm going to Atlanta when it's warm, I'm going to make some time. I'm going to get a big bottle and a little bottle to keep in my purse. If I come across a headache you deserve, the ancestors will be taking care of you expeditiously.
SPEAKER_01Speaking of the ancestors, uh Naomi Osaka said, fuck what y'all talking about. I don't give a damn. And I'll do another party.
SPEAKER_00So she's she's she up some hoes like Remick from Cinners. You ain't coming up in here. I picked pole Robin clean, uh-huh, bitch. Bye.
SPEAKER_01So basically what happened, uh Naomi uh Osaka, she had a party for all the black tennis players. And you know when black people do something just for us, right? You're never really alone. There's always a white person around. Or a white person, yeah, looking. Um when I tell you these people got on Twitter and tried to I don't know what they were trying to do, but she's a whole like she's a whole black woman. Like she's going to tell you how she feels, but in the most eloquent way.
SPEAKER_00Here's my thing.
SPEAKER_01Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00What was different from her do first, cause you can't tell me who to invite to a birthday dinner or a dinner or a party or what. What the fuck was the big damn deal? She's not gonna lose her endorsements, and again, she has the right to hang out with whoever the fuck she wants. My whole thing was that was no different than that own meals. I can say, hey, me and my homie just had a kickback. What the f y'all wanna be including in everything. And oh well, what if we did that? Y'all do it all the time.
SPEAKER_01Y'all do it all the time. It's called the country club. We have the cookout, we have the cookout, y'all have the country club. Stay out, stay at the cookout.
SPEAKER_00Y'all don't even like staying in y'all own country club. Y'all be so busy trying to pick poor Ronald Clean your way into our damn cookouts. Which again, you subsect the ring your ass niggas. You're invited to the cookout. No, the fuck they're not. The cookout is enclosed.
SPEAKER_01And I wish these niggas would stop inviting them to the cookout. No, you cannot come to the cookout.
SPEAKER_00I block every black person on every social media platform.
SPEAKER_01Or you're invited to the cook B O C A C block.
SPEAKER_00Instagram.
SPEAKER_01Just because they do a little dance, they they do a little dance, they got a little rhythm, or that you're invited to a cookout. No, you're not.
SPEAKER_00Bitch.
SPEAKER_01No. No. But my thing was this she could have posted this and said, hanging with friends. She could have posted this and said, hanging with my aces. You know what I'm saying?
unknownMm hmm.
SPEAKER_01Y'all took that and said, This I mean, this is where we're talking about the division. There would be no division if you didn't create the division.
SPEAKER_00Period.
SPEAKER_01You guys started the division centuries ago. Shadow slavery. I don't know what you I don't know if you know what that is. You do. If you don't, you should look it up. So when black people have these moments, right? When we are getting together and everything like that, what's going on over here? Blackness. Bye bye. Anywho, back to what it's just you guys want to be centered in everything that black people do. And let me go into this. The Summer House Reunion. That that the Summer House Reunion, right? So Sierra, beautiful. She looked like, I mean, Jessica, like she flawless. Why are people on social media talking about it's really not that big of a deal, you know, so and so. But a couple of years ago, when that shit happened on Vanderpump Rules, y'all were all Team Ariana. But now Sierra Miller is being, she should just let it go. Every single time a black woman, every single time a black woman does not forgive after she's been shitted on or is not taking any apologies, she's the problem.
SPEAKER_00That was super harsh. Girl, fuck y'all.
SPEAKER_01That ain't my wife. She ain't my wife.
SPEAKER_00Period. And a lot of the times, and she cheating on you too. Get a backbone. And a lot of the times, the reason why it wild, because I remember watching, I used to watch Vanderpump Rules. That's how I knew how who Arianna was.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I, you know, I didn't watch the show, but I did watch that reunion for um Summer House. But with Vanderpump Rules, there I remember a subsect of white women, and it's not that serious. I did too much. Because that's what y'all do. Going to a white college, living in a white dormitory with nothing but white girls. One year I was the only black girl on my floor. Y'all do that shit for fun and for sport. Y'all love civil women's other boyfriends and soon to be husbands and fiance. I know white, like, it's two white girls I know right now who are still best friends from college. I'm sure she doesn't fucking know. Her best friend slept with her. And at the time their boyfriend and girlfriend engaged, but they slept together when we were in school. And I remember seeing them coming out of the room when she wasn't there, and I just looked at him. I said, mm. Oh my God. Keep it moving.
SPEAKER_01But it's just like this whole thing.
SPEAKER_00That's y'all's culture. It's just like this whole thing of white women telling, you know, getting under these tweets, talking about she needs to let it go.
SPEAKER_01She needs to da da da da, da da da. It's like, no, she can be mad all she wants, all she wants. She doesn't have to forgive Amanda. She doesn't have to forgive. She don't have to forgive none of them bitches at all. Because she's done. She's about to be on Dancing with the Stars. Congratulations, Sierra. Um, she's about to be on Dancing with the Stars. And I don't even think.
SPEAKER_00See her new commercial, The Screen Promo.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Fire.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I don't even think, and this is my thing, because I want to say it last podcast. I don't think she should even go back to Summerhouse. What I think they should do is revive Summerhouse Martha's Vineyard.
SPEAKER_00And have C. I'm just saying. Listen Bravo.
SPEAKER_01Listen, Bravo, if you are fucking listening, Andy.
unknownAndy.
SPEAKER_00You got a chance to do something right.
SPEAKER_01I think you should revive Martha's Summerhouse, Martha's Vineyard, with Sierra and let her, let Sierra do the picking. Okay. Let her pick some of her closest black friends and call it a fucking day. Because y'all didn't give that shit one ounce of promotion, by the way. So they did it. So yeah, Bravo, you have a chance to revive Summer House Martha's Vineyard. Because, first of all, a lot of people don't know Martha's Vineyard is an iconic, legendary uh place where black people would go to have resorts and everything like that. It is still there to this day.
SPEAKER_00A lot of celebrities own homes out there, too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And it's black.
SPEAKER_00And my mom wants to go next year.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. So Bravo, y'all have a chance to revive it. Um, do what you gotta do. All right. What do we got to talk about? Oh, tech companies. So let me talk about this right here. Um, so in the age of AI, as we're all living in the age of AI, and these companies are building data centers and trying to get it approved with the cities and towns. Nobody wants a fucking data center. Nobody wants a fucking data center in their town, their city, so their water their water can turn to brown. That shit is disgusting. So Microsoft, Microsoft revoked some of its developers' access to uh cloty code programming assistant because the yeah, the computing bills were too high. Uber stopped using AI because they ran through, I think, what, like almost uh $300 million or something like that. Starbucks, Starbucks said, fuck AI, we're not doing it because they messed up milk orders, food orders, all of that. And here, I'm just telling you this right now. You cannot use AI for everything. And AI is not meant for everything. Now I get, you know, like the bots, chat bots, and stuff and all of that. But you're trying to use AI to replace humans. And that's the problem. Because AI doesn't have any emotions.
SPEAKER_00Hell, AI barely has a damn brain either. And it's supposed to be super smart. Did you see the AI, Michael Jackson, miss a step, trying to go up the step, then the bitch was so embarrassed she powered down. No, AI is out of itself too.
SPEAKER_01Like, it just it doesn't, because you have to have with humans, there's an emotional, there's an emotional concept right there. There's an emotional, just emotions, period. And humans can act on emotion. AI can't. AI can't. You're trying to have robots in the surgery room. What are we doing? What are we doing?
SPEAKER_00Y'all want robots in the surgery room, but y'all can't fix the shit we already got. Half of the time you be like, hey Siri, the bitch don't even answer.
SPEAKER_01How about we get some robots to fix these motherfucking roads that we can't drive on and fucking Nashville?
SPEAKER_00Robots to clear my student loans. How that?
SPEAKER_01And why is every time someone gets hacked? Why why is it's always the wrong company?
SPEAKER_00Always the wrong thing. Listen, call up nail net. Call them bitches up and clear my shit. Where anonymous at? I ain't seen you on YouTube in a long time, bro. In a long time. Where's anonymous?
SPEAKER_01Where's anonymous at?
SPEAKER_00My boy, what's the boy, that kid that United Healthcare CEO?
SPEAKER_01Oh Lord.
SPEAKER_00I know he got a hit list of jobs where his ass was if he ever get out. Call him. Because I'm sick of it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Well, yeah. And that's what I'm saying. Like, AI, like at the end of the day, even with me typing this in, it said AI overview, and it says from what website? Yahoo Finance. So basically AI took it and just summarized it into one paragraph.
SPEAKER_00How about y'all AI the Epstein files? How about that? And releasing them at all.
SPEAKER_01How about y'all AI the DNC report?
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, how about that? And speaking of the DNC report, um, white liberals, let me tell you something.
unknownOh God.
SPEAKER_01Um where's Jill Stein at? Where's Jill Stein?
SPEAKER_00Jill smile. Jill Stein said, you gotta be cooking in that. You gotta be cooker than that.
SPEAKER_01Y'all had y'all had one job. Y'all had one job. Now I'll tell you this. Y'all can call them Republicans disgusting, evil, demons, we can do all of that. But one thing they gonna do, evil gonna stick together. Evil is gonna stick together. There is always something. When we feel like this one party is coming together, right? There's always a subsector that just won't cooperate. And we have that subsector. And it's the liberals. When I hear someone tell me that they are a liberal, I really it's like an ick now when someone says they're a liberal. Because you are only thinking about yourself and what you can get out of whatever you're voting for, whoever you're voting for. You're not thinking about the community as a whole. You're not thinking about people as a whole. Just like that white woman who was talking about, I don't care what you guys went through. There's a genocide in, you know, in Palestine, da da da.
SPEAKER_00Or that Walmart lady who said, Well, Flint already has nasty water. Let's put the death centers in bad cities. What the fuck is a bad city? A black city?
SPEAKER_01And that's what kills me, is that just because you're liberal doesn't mean you're not racist. And I think that's what people forget. It's like, oh, I'm fighting for this cause, but you're only fighting for that cause. You're not fighting for black people. You're not fighting for Latino. You're not fighting for anybody but your cause. And that's where we get, that's where it's gonna get y'all fucked up. Because this here election, this these midterms, baby, we don't give a fuck. Take that shit on somewhere, we don't give a damn. Well, what about the gent girl? You trying to get your ass whooped today.
SPEAKER_00But again, even with that being said and done.
SPEAKER_01How are we gonna help them if we can't help our? We cannot help anybody if we can't help our fucking selves. Even some of the Palestinians.
SPEAKER_00Take that shit to the RNC and around the Republicans. Y'all knew, y'all know better than to do that.
SPEAKER_01They knew better than to do that shit. They get punched in the fucking face, just saying some shit like that.
SPEAKER_00Not only would they get punched, they have ice call on all y'all asses as U.S. citizens so fucking fast. Get the fuck out of here. It's disingenuous.
SPEAKER_01It's disingenuous. It's not you everybody everybody wants to be so creative. We are talking about the genocide.
SPEAKER_00There's a genocide that's been going on in the Congo and Sudan.
SPEAKER_01You oh, don't let when I tell you, when I tell you, they forget, I said, why do they why they never talk about black countries? Oh. Because they black countries. They're black countries. And you have an agenda. Don't let your agenda get you fucked up around here. So every time I see someone, well, you know, there's a I you know, that's just, I don't care about who what you've been through in this country. Lady, take you and your privilege and go jump off a fucking bridge. Cause we don't care. We're not hearing that. Black people, we're done. Black people are not listening to that. We're done. We're we're done. We're done.
SPEAKER_00Oh, brother, this guy stinks.
SPEAKER_01Um I thought this was funny. I was like, use your 401k, baby. Where that money spend that shit. Spend that shit. At the rate that we're going, at the listen, at the rate that this economy is going, baby, and the way people are pulling out their money from their 401k and they stocks and everything.
SPEAKER_00So what's that for? Who said that? Who said that? Well, you know, if you pull out your money from your 401, I don't give a shit. Just give me my money. Just give me my money. That's how you know America is just a fucking scamming ass, not a real place. You tax me a good bit to access my 401k.
SPEAKER_01My 401k?
SPEAKER_00My money that I've put in. America's just a scam overall.
SPEAKER_01Well, we keep giving money to Israel and they have universal health care and we don't. Yeah. Anywho, um, that's why I will never vote for anybody that takes APAC money, that takes uh corporate pack money. I will never vote for anybody that does that shit. And Jasmine Crockett, you were fucking foul for uh in her. Why would you even do some shit like that?
SPEAKER_00I'm so disappointed in her.
SPEAKER_01Wesley Bell? My friend, Wesley Bell, you got Corey Bush right there. Ciao. But see, I don't know what it is. I don't know if Jasmine sees Corey Bush as a threat. Or I don't. It's just it didn't make sense. It didn't make sense. She's talking about, well, you know, if you need a fighter, he's gonna fight. That man is getting APAC money.
SPEAKER_00Girl, like Jasmine, you cannot be able to do that.
SPEAKER_01He's gonna do what they tell him to do. Anyone that is getting APAC money or corporate pack money, they tell you what to do. And I think we need to, as black people, as like anybody that's running for Congress, we need to educate our young people. Hey guys, this person takes APAC money. Hey guys, this person takes corporate pack money. So when they take money from those donors, they tell them what to do, what to vote on, your congressmen, your senators, all of them. They're funding their elections. And Jasmine Crockett, that just, I that just really left a bad taste in my mouth. Um, but yeah, I hope, I hope James Talarico, you know, wins the Senate, I guess, in Texas.
SPEAKER_00Look, sorrow, sorrows, press.
SPEAKER_01Um, what you got for black business, baby? Black business 101.
SPEAKER_00Black business 101. And it kind of go first, and I'm gonna tell you why. Go first.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Um, black business 101. I was honestly, uh, I put in my order for uh more crunch.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I oh, let me tell y'all. I ate every pretzel, honey.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I was up there. First of all, you didn't even first of all, let me tell you something.
SPEAKER_00Well, that was gone. Oh, you already have nothing to offer you, baby.
SPEAKER_01Oh, damn.
SPEAKER_00That was already gone, sweetie.
SPEAKER_01Oh, oh, well. Shout out to more crunch. Um we will definitely put the link in the bio. Absolutely. Um, it's just a black business that are that that's he's doing really good things. Um everything. The brand is on point. Uh, shout out to more crunch. Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01You go, baby.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna definitely make me another order for the um old bay ones.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00Every pretzel was the package.
SPEAKER_01I got I got the variety pack. I got the variety pack.
SPEAKER_00Every pretzel was amazing. I definitely gotta go in, do me another order. But honey, first of all, my black business 101. Please get out there and support these black movies that are in the movies.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Michael was gonna sell itself.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00However, I am glad that it's doing amazing, but is God is. Um, I love boosters.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Because black people do something, or we're doing something in the movies that a lot of people aren't doing. And that's not, we're not reheating old nachos. We're not doing prequels and sequels. We're coming with original stories, yeah. With messages. And black people, we do our best work when the world around us is crumbling. Woo! Listen, so Say that again.
SPEAKER_01Say that again, Frank.
SPEAKER_00Best work when the world around us is crumbling.
SPEAKER_01Always have.
SPEAKER_00Always have, and we always will.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I just really want and encourage black people to get out to the movies. Um, like TJ shouted out AMC Subs. I'm a Regal Club member. I go to movies at least once a week, but I'm going to support back rooms because the lead actor is black. And it's stuff like that. Oh, I want, yes, it will. They see us out here going, making movies. Okay, black people. And then we still have these same conversations that we were having when um Malcolm D. Lee, no, it was a Will Packer, I think it was Malcolm D. Lee. When Malcolm D. Lee released the best man in 2000 because it was an all-black cast, but it translated to cat to an audience of all different races because it was just a good ass story.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So please go see black movies or support movies or features or whatever with the lead black actors and actresses.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Uh Is God Is. Um, I love boosters. And then, yeah, I'm gonna go see um we don't want to see tonight.
SPEAKER_00You say I love boosters, right? Or no back rooms?
SPEAKER_01Backrooms, yeah. I'm gonna go see back rooms tonight. Um, yeah, it's gonna be good. I'm trying to see if they have Me, You, and Tuscany still in theaters, but I think they took it out. But yeah. Yeah, Me, You, and Tuscany was an amazing film, original story. Um Is God is, is amazing. It has to be.
SPEAKER_00Okay, let's get into it for twice the fire.
SPEAKER_01Let's get into it.
SPEAKER_00First of all, Is God is provided black women a place where rage could go.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00To not have to worry about, oh, I don't want to be seen in an angry black woman. No, fuck that, bitch. I'm mad. You changed the trajectory of my life because you're fucking psycho. And you allow me to get hurt to get hurt. Mm-hmm. And you're still trying to hurt me after all of that. Oh, bitch you gots to go. And it's so many black men that sugar, oh, this just makes black men look bad. This is a fucking movie, bruh.
SPEAKER_01And hit dog on how to- A lot of that shit is happens in real life. And when I tell you Sterling K. Brown, Sterling K. Brown, that's how you know he's a n that's how you know he's a nigga nigga.
SPEAKER_00Because the way that-he's an amazing actor with range.
SPEAKER_01Yes. When I tell you that switch from, oh, I'm just trying to, you know, I want to be there for you and your grand, you know, my grandbaby.
SPEAKER_00Chilling.
SPEAKER_01To an automatic fuck you and all of this. Like he didn't give a shit.
SPEAKER_00Insane.
SPEAKER_01Didn't give a shit. And it was just such pure, like, like you just said, the range, but the methods that he used. Because it in that scene, when he's talking to his daughter, I could have sworn he used four different methods of acting. Like I it's sh, it was just, it blew my mind. It blew my mind.
SPEAKER_00Masterclass in acting.
SPEAKER_01The fact that Sterling K. Brown does not have an Academy Award is fucking insane. But you know, you, you know, you know, you know.
SPEAKER_00It was so good.
SPEAKER_01I love boosters. I know it just, I know it just. Came out, but the way that the film is being highlighted, the way that it is showcasing just the blackness within the film, right? Um, and how creators, you know, their work gets stolen. There were so many, like just like Is God Is, how there were Easter eggs in that. There were so many Easter eggs in I Love Boosters. I'm not gonna go into the whole movie because I know it just came out and y'all want to go see it.
SPEAKER_00That's what I I want to give that one a little bit more time before I delve into that because the shit I want to say about fucking, I have notes on what I want to say about I Love Boosters.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna wait until more people see it.
SPEAKER_01But what I tell you is, God, is when they met, when they met their brothers, and that they thought the oldest one was the problem. Ciao. And that woo.
SPEAKER_00She told them. She told her not to. I and and here's the thing too. I think it shows how a lot of the times when it comes to being polarizing in different opinions, I think it just shows how sometimes you can be two sides of the same coin.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Because even though they were twins, you saw the calm twin, the rough twin, but at the same time, they can fall into those other roles when need be, when it comes to their twin. So not only as a black woman that it gives you rage for a place to go, it felt I I think it was uh an intentional choice to have Vivica Fox seen as the mother because as God, because coming from Kill Bill into a role like this, this was Kill Bill meets centers, meets set meets set. It was a p it was something that you don't get black women, you don't get to be like, Y'all better stop playing with Vivica A.
SPEAKER_01Fox. Like, this is Independence Day, Vivica A. Fox. Like, stop fucking playing with Vivica A. Fox and her acting range.
SPEAKER_00I want to give a shit out to Erica Alexander. She was fucking crazy in this movie. Ain't no way I went on the nigga that long. But she was um Erica Alexander, she's starting within the last few years, she's definitely starting to get her props, but she's an amazing actor. You have Michael T. Williamson. Um, this entire cast was phenomenal. Phenomenal. Janelle Monet. Oh, but you got what you deserved, ho.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Janelle, listen, even with Janelle Monet playing that character, I was like, Yes. There it is. There she goes.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. It was really good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was really, it was really good. And the fact that the younger brother, right? The younger brother, when she was telling him about what her like what his older brother did and everything like that, he looked her dad in her face and said, Thank you for that. And decided to choke the shit out of him.
SPEAKER_00You asked him his daddy and him, honey.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and tell her, I don't give a I don't give a fuck what my brother did. My thing is like, yo.
SPEAKER_00But that's how a lot of black men or and men in general roll. I don't give a fuck what you did. It's still my nigga. Or boys will be boys.
SPEAKER_01But then again, they were raised by their daddy. He was there. He was there. So of course, when that other sister said, we gotta kill the other one, she meant what she said. Uh-huh. Yeah. So shout out to Is God. It's a uh a phenomenal, just uh mesmerizing film that I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. And the colors that digital yeah, the colors were beautiful.
SPEAKER_00That's why we need black producers, editors, writers, directors.
SPEAKER_01All in the films. Because they they showcase our our our natural color.
SPEAKER_00Our natural outside of enjoying Nope by Jordan Hill, the color of that movie was the colors of that movie was one of my favorite. Sinners conveys that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Another movie that has great colors with an all-black cast is I think it's The Heart Did They Fall, The Black Comedy Next Fit from Netflix.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And Netflix, let me tell you something, bitch. June the 3rd, if y'all release that fucking Michael Jackson documentary, this man was acquitted of all the fucking charges, and the FBI was investigating him for up to 10 years. Oh, bitch, I'm canceling you. People have already started canceling you because you want to play advocate. Why y'all trying to eat off of Michael like this? Let that fucking man rest in peace.
SPEAKER_01Because they're a corporation.
SPEAKER_00That's why I always hate when you bring him up because I know those bum ass allegations are coming behind it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I saw that shit last night when I was watching The Burrows, which is actually good too. If you check out that TV show, The Burrows, it's really good. But I saw that shit after I watched. So I watched The Crash, and we'll get into that next week. I watched The Crash, started the Burroughs, and then I seen an ad for the Michael Jackson documentary. And I'm just like, y'all are really eating off this man. Really, to this day. To this day, y'all trying to eat off this man.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_01But don't worry about it. He has the top domestic uh what documentary of all time.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the highest gross.
SPEAKER_01The highest grossing.
SPEAKER_00Higher pick of all time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and Drake, come here, bitch.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00You are a disrespectful swine. But this is this is your colonizer side coming out. The fact that you buy black American memorabilia, you brought Pharrell's chain. You brought Tupac's rings. You brought Michael Jackson's glove. Then you put him in a whack ass boot. First of all, I wish Michael was alive to buy your fucking cat, to buy your catalog from UMG for fucking fun. Just for shits and giggles. The way Michael would chew you up and spit your biracial ass out.
SPEAKER_01When I tell you Michael Jackson had that catalog, that catalog. He had the Beatles. He had the Beatles catalog.
SPEAKER_00Don't forget that we brought Eminem catalog.
SPEAKER_01Hello.
SPEAKER_00He's like, oh, you want to fucking talk about me? Okay, bitch. Purchase. Why? Purchase. Girl, Drake, don't piss me. Honestly. I'm not about the disrespect. Because again, you're not doing that to the Kennedy legends. The few that there are that exist.
SPEAKER_02Well, he knows better.
SPEAKER_00You're not talking talking about Celine Dion. I just get so tired of the disrespect of our legends, our cultures, and just certain shit that's ending up in the hands of people that just are not deemed worthy or fucking responsible.
SPEAKER_01The fact that he did that that cover with that glove.
SPEAKER_00And you're still trying to eat off of somebody else. Everything you do is based off of another man's hype because you're a pussy.
SPEAKER_01Kendrick Lamar was not lying.
SPEAKER_00Kendrick Lamar, the shit that man said is still coming to fruition to this day. And Future, you're a joke. You literally let Drake run back and call not your ass after y'all already used featured on Iceman, which all three albums was fucking tra hot ass garbage.
SPEAKER_01I haven't even started.
SPEAKER_00I refuse to listen to it on Apple Music. You ain't finna fucking my algorithm up. I found that shit on TikTok and YouTube. Anita Max Swin, you I refuse.
SPEAKER_01Oh my God.
SPEAKER_00You got Grand Man sitting there looking at ice cubes. Ice man, iceman.
SPEAKER_01Girl. Yeah, I don't know what these three albums were all about, but you know, you got you got people that say, oh, this is the best collection that he put out. Please stop.
SPEAKER_00You motherfuckers don't even have media literacy skills. Why would I even listen to you?
SPEAKER_01Why would I trust a nigga that cannot read? Like, why would I trust a nigga? Like, here's the thing. We want all of our niggas to be able to comprehend and listen and know how to read. We want that here at the Black Paradigm. But I'm not finna argue with someone that can't understand basic logic. So when Kendrick Lamar said colonizing, y'all should have put two and two together. Because some of those songs, it's like, here we go again. Here we go again. But maybe we'll get into a next episode. Maybe we won't. Um I'll find a way to listen to it because definitely not going on my Apple Music algorithm. So or my spot. I might listen to it on no, no, no, no, Spotify either. No. We'll find out. We'll we'll find some clips. We'll find some clips and listen to the songs on YouTube, maybe, and shit like that. But um, you got anything else, boo?
SPEAKER_00I do not. That's all I have.
SPEAKER_01All right. Well, I'm gonna get ready to go see um backrooms. Mm-hmm. I'm trying to make sure I got my ticket because hold on. I'm gonna make sure. Okay, yeah, yeah.
