I usually don't work eight to five on Tuesdays, but we had a person that's on, we have a couple of people that's on vacation, so that's the reason. So I had to cancel my therapy session. I rebooked it. So um, but these last couple of days have been balanced. I can't I can't complain. Um, I've been doing some check-ins on a lot of my friends that I haven't talked to in a couple of months. Um I want to shout out one of my oldest friends. His name is Zarek, Zek Curry. I'm going to text you, nigga. Um, we were supposed to be getting together. We were supposed to be getting together last week, and we didn't, some things came up, but we're gonna get together. Um we went to school, like middle school, high school. Like that is locked in. Oh, yeah, yeah. Very locked in. He lived two, when we were growing up, he lived two streets down from me in my neighborhood. So yeah. Uh shout out to Zarek. And um, yeah, I I I've been good. I've been good. I um need to stop buying cologne. I need to stop buying body. Yeah, I need, I gotta seeing that shit in my bank account. I gotta stop buying cologne, y'all. But I got one thing to say. We have some intruders amongst us. Some snakes in my grass have been revealed. There is a god that sit up high and look down low. Not only am I spiritually protected, I'm also divinely protected too. My spirit guides do not play about me. You're a bitch. You're a pussy ass bitch. And I know you're listening. And I know you know who I'm talking about. But I'ma be a-okay. I'ma be just fine. Cause as I've stated, there's a goddess to the pie and looks down low. I pray to God you can't sleep at night. Um, so according to The Guardian, shit, Spain and France face more heat after scorching June caused 2,000 deaths. Listen. Spain and France are bracing for another possible heat wave that could bring temperatures of 111 degrees Fahrenheit over the coming days, as the figures show that June's extreme heat was responsible for the more than 2,000 excess deaths in the two countries. Spain's state meteorological uh meteorological agency, Amit, said a mass of dry and very hot air would bring persistently high temperatures to much of Spain from Saturday, adding that temperatures in parts of the southeast could hit uh 42 Celsius to 44 Celsius on Tuesday. Temperatures will begin to rise over all of that, yada yada yada. Let's see. Scientists have scientists, scientists have said the heat wave, which was the most severe and widespread to hit Western Europe, was possible only due to the climate crisis driven by fossil fuel burning. Uh Clips won the album of the year for Let God Sort Them out. That was a fucking good album. That was such a fucking good album. Um Best Group and Best Collaboration for Chains and Whips. They're pairing with Lamar. Let God Sort Them Out was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards in February, but didn't win in either category. Um Lamar won, Kaylani won. Um Olivia Dean won Best New Artist. Cardi B won the female hip-hop artist, best female hip-hop artist. It's her third win in the category, her first since um 2018, 2019. Also, Ryan Cooler Centers won Best Movie. Um, Michael B. Jordan won the Oscar. The only issue that I have with the BET Awards, the only fucking issue that I always have with the B.E.T.
