What's up, what's up, what's up, niggas? It's your boy TJ, aka TJ with the sauce.
SPEAKER_00Hey you guys, it's your Ast, aka Ash the Great.
SPEAKER_03And you are listening to The Black Bear, Dow. This is a lot of shit going on, baby. But I will say this. This is gonna be a short episode. Um yes, it's gonna be a short episode. Your boy's going to see Spider-Man tonight.
SPEAKER_00What's Spider- What Spider-Man is out?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Spider-Man's out. Brand new day.
SPEAKER_00Oh, is it a cartoon or is it?
SPEAKER_03No, it's a live-action movie.
SPEAKER_00Chow, I've oh, I had to look.
SPEAKER_03Even though I'm fucking girl Wonder Man.
SPEAKER_00And then when you said it again, I said Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so Wonder Man and Spider-Man, they two different uh Marvel characters. Um, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I know that.
SPEAKER_03I know you know that. Okay, I'm about to say, you know that much. Um, I'll say this. Marvel, I'm really pissed off at y'all right now because let's let's get into it before we get into mental health. Let's let's get into this shit.
SPEAKER_02Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Marvel, fuck you. Because you renewed Wonder Man in March of 2026. The show was Emmy nominated.
SPEAKER_00He did so well.
SPEAKER_03Yaya did a just there was nobody else that could do that role. Nobody. Now, I don't know what you have planned for his character, but that character we loved. It wasn't a the show Wonder Man wasn't a typical superhero series. It had character development, it had plot, it had everything that you wanted in a show. Each fucking episode led into something new. And for y'all bitches, just to sit up there and cancel that show crazy word. Crazy. Crazy. This is a good thing. Give me five seconds to look this stuff up. Yeah, give me five seconds.
SPEAKER_00I feel like they did when they canceled um what is it? Lovecraft Country, a show that had 27 Emmy nominations. That did amazing y'all cancel. Y'all cancel Ironheart.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00It's like, okay, Disney, what y'all trying to, y'all ain't trying to brighten up the place. Y'all trying to whiten up the place.
SPEAKER_03They're trying to whitewash the whole narrative of the show. First of all, you can't. There are central black characters in the Marvel universe. What y'all gonna do with X-Men? Huh? If we're talking about y'all trying to whitewash the fucking character, what y'all gonna do with X-Men? Y'all might as well just cancel that whole shit out. I mean, what we doing?
SPEAKER_00I won't be shocked if they talk to my storm gonna end up looking like Jessica Chastain. Yeah, Margaret Riley.
SPEAKER_03So let me just let me just go to Variety, a source. Um Wonder Man. You so damn petty.
unknownSorry.
SPEAKER_03Wonderman not returning for season two at Disney Plus exclusive. Um go on, Variety. Wonderman has been canceled at Disney Plus. Variety has learned exclusively. The news comes despite the fact that Disney announced a season two renewal for the show back in March. What did I tell you? Roughly two months after it debuted, according to sources, a writer's room for season two was never opened, and the show writers have been released to pursue other projects. So here's the thing.
SPEAKER_04Hire new writers.
SPEAKER_03Hire new writers. Y'all got all that money over there at Disney, but y'all can't hire new writers? Something, because a lot of people yesterday, when the news broke, late last night, people thought this was a joke. People thought this was like, oh, they doing this for marketing, you know, they're trying to rev up the show again.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_03Yaya. Let me find this Instagram. He literally, um, hold on.
SPEAKER_00His fine self. I mean sexy on the stick, okay?
SPEAKER_03Yaya posted this three hours ago. Word just dropped that Wonder Man won't be coming back for season two. And if you don't know, now you know. That's life. That's life, right? Everything will shake out. I wanted to say thank you to everybody who watched the show, enjoyed the show, and shared that they enjoyed the show in some way or other. The show worked, and that's my favorite thing about it. I can see it on the faces of the YouTube reactors because I watched along with y'all this time. Shout out to y'all. And I can see in the messages I get saying how the show reminded some of you not to give up. And I feel it in the genuine love shared when I bump into some of you all during the day. So thanking of you all today. I'm glad we got to be a part of something cool. Thank you for watching and uh see you at the Emmys.
SPEAKER_00I want y'all to know how good the fucking show was, and and it's the Emmy nominated, and y'all cancel that shit.
SPEAKER_03But you know, this has been a running theme when it comes to black main characters. Just like you mentioned, Lovecraft Country. In the media, look um, I mean, Ryan Clark. I mean, look at all of the like just in media, period.
SPEAKER_00Well, just this just two days ago, even though I'm not a Tyler Perry show fan, his show, The Beauty and the Black, did very well. It was it was renewed, then it was canceled. Now they filmed another commercial saying that because Netflix had already faced backlash from that Michael Jackson documentary. A lot of people canceled their subscriptions. Excuse me, then I saw a commercial today. Oh, we're back.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00I think I'm so nervous because in September the new different world comes on. I'm so I think this is gonna be great because the original characters are involved, Debbie Allen's involved. Yeah. They you they mostly use the black, a full monoracial black American cast. Yeah. A black, um, yeah, black American monoracial cast. I've seen the steel shots. I think this is gonna be amazing. However, even if it does well, as well as a show can do, that still doesn't guarantee renewal.
SPEAKER_03It doesn't.
SPEAKER_00It now for black shows. Meanwhile, y'all got 20 mediocre white shows that at least get five fucking seasons, 30 episodes per season that don't be about a motherfucking thing.
SPEAKER_03Honestly, at this point in media, like it's a dangerous point in media.
SPEAKER_00I feel like how I feel, in my personal opinion, I feel like the whole what's the word I'm looking for? The golden age of black TV. We've definitely regressed as a society, but the golden age of black TV was the 90s and probably until like 2009.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, fuck you, CW.
SPEAKER_00Heavy left us on cliffhangers on fucking one on one girl.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it's when Ray J came on there, I knew it was a dud. I knew it was a dudes come back, Ashley, come back, Ashley.
SPEAKER_01She left she left.
SPEAKER_03Oh my God. I am done. I am done. Ashley, get back in here. Get back in here. I am done.
SPEAKER_00I girl, you That was fucked up.
SPEAKER_03Girl, you had to log the fuck out, honey.
SPEAKER_00I had to log the fuck out. I I wanted to scream. They said every time you see Ray J and Mel Jackson, that fucking show is over, bitch. It was done. It was done.
SPEAKER_03And my thing is this, even when Ray J was on there, they whitewashed the last season of one-on-one too. They had two or three white characters. And I was like, what who the fuck? Who the fuck are these people? Well, you know, when an entirely black show, when they and when they start adding white characters, oh, it's a dud. It's it's a dud. I don't think they had white characters in the in the first four. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Not even white side characters.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00I don't remember. No.
SPEAKER_03They didn't start off with a white side character like that, so Raven. You know what I'm saying? That's true. So my thing is that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because Raven, I mean, there was Chelsea. Then, you know, Orlando.
SPEAKER_03Orlando was, I mean, I mean, those were her two best friends.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Chelsea and Orlando. But I'm just talking about like our black show, white characters, like about Chelsea. I think about um Proud Family, Zoe. I think about the Romeo show. The The Maid was white. And one of the brothers was white, but that was a black-leaning cast. Just Jordan didn't have any white characters that I can remember. Um I'm just tired.
SPEAKER_03I'm tired. It's like black people, we are so magical. And the shit that we do and what we produce and how we do it is so fucking magical. And it resonates. It resonates with millions of people. But white media is like, well, well, we can just, we'll get rid of this show so we can make room for three other, you know, shows that we might cancel in the second or third season. But they can't be black, though. They can't be with a whole black cast. That's why I said, like, I get why Tyler Perry. Now listen, y'all know, y'all know, I have my ins and outs with Tyler Perry. But he wasn't wrong when he was telling Jada Pink and Smith that y'all sitting up here talking about uh, what is it, what'd they say? No, no, uh, no Academy Awards or something like that. Um, he's like, I'm down in Atlanta.
SPEAKER_00Oscar so white.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Oscar so white. He said, I'm down in Atlanta, building a whole studio, bought it. And then he gave, he made them a studio. Put a studio in their fucking name.
SPEAKER_00I'll give him that.
SPEAKER_03So what's that man's name that owns the weather channel? Is it um I'm gonna look it up for you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I know he was just, I think he was just.
SPEAKER_00Is it Byron Allen?
SPEAKER_03Byron Allen. Byron Allen, Tyler Perry. I know they all billionaires and stuff like that. But if y'all, listen, they all need to come together and be like, listen, we're producing these shows. We don't need no approval from no no none of y'all. No studio exists because I can I can do this shit. We can have all these black shows on fucking Netflix if you want. We can have all these black shows on Netflix. We can have these motherfuckers on BT.
SPEAKER_00At this point, we don't even need Netflix. I feel like we need our own streaming platform. Exactly. Because I don't, but here's the thing. I don't want to see all Tyler Perry shows. I need licensing for black shit. Correct. Correct. Even like, and me, these, me, TJ, and Dom are gonna do a collaboration show about this. But even when I look at like reality TV from the early thousands, Helldate, College Hill, Baldwin Hill. B.E.T. used to have some bomb ass original programming. Access granted, 21 countdowns, how your favorite music videos were filmed. Like bombing.
SPEAKER_03That was the worst. That was the worst decision they ever made when they sold BET to Viacom. That was the worst decision. I mean, it was like we had so many good shows for us. For us. Baldwin's Hill. Let me tell you something. The Hills, cool, love the Hills, but Baldwin Hills nigga, Baldwin Hills niggas, because that that was us. We star our like what who was the cast? Mariah Johnson, Mariah, Gavin.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Uh Nelly Suki, Crystal, Willie. Yes. What's her name? The Vanessa Bell Callaway's daughters were on there. Like, it basically was like a have have not because a lot of the kids were like rich, and then you have some kids that was from like the project.
SPEAKER_03Exactly.
SPEAKER_00It was such a good fucking show.
SPEAKER_03It was a good mix because you had scenes where all the group, the group was there. Like when they had parties and stuff like that. And they had real, real conversations.
SPEAKER_00Not Suki, not Suki. Her name was Seiko. Her name was Seiko.
SPEAKER_03Seiko, yes, Seiko, yes.
SPEAKER_00And honey, I still remember when um Vanessa beat Crystal ass on uh Virgin Hills College Hill. I'm gonna fucking go. And Crystal took that motherfucking hill. All you hear is Cheeky and JT and Willie Max separating them. Crazy. And they said Vanessa home. I still remember that. I remember, listen, Hell Date, you make me want to go get a body to hear somebody. Hell day from hell, Helldate from Oh my God. I just the little short people in the little Yes.
SPEAKER_03Yes. B.E.T. like that whole summer.
SPEAKER_00Like even the show with Cara and Kel Mitchell. They had like a game show at night.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_00We had BET Nightly News. Like, oh my God.
SPEAKER_03What the fuck happened to that? I remember when they had the Mo when they had the Monique show.
SPEAKER_00I like the Monique show. Hey, sweet babies, come on and do it. The Monique show.
SPEAKER_03I just feel like now, and I know that we are getting back to, but we have regressed. We have regressed. Um, everybody is trying to be so individualistic now, and you know, it's just it in order for us to eat, we have to work together. And I know some of you niggas hate hearing that, but it's the truth.
SPEAKER_00It's the truth.
SPEAKER_03Because guess what? These motherfuckers work together every fucking day, even if they don't like each other. They work together and they make their fucking money. And I'm not just talking about the white people, I'm talking about every other race.
SPEAKER_00Not only did the hell they work together for media, they work together for economics, they work together to cover up crimes. Hello. Hello.
SPEAKER_03Hi, Mississippi.
SPEAKER_00Okay, let's let's pull it back. We're gonna go to the health check-in.
SPEAKER_03Yes. How's your how's your how is your mental check? Let's do that. How what what is going on in your your your mental check-in, boo?
SPEAKER_00So, hello, party people. I was in Atlanta, Georgia for six days.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you were.
SPEAKER_00I had an amazing time. When I crossed that state line back to Tennessee, I had a meltdown in my car. I cried. I'm just like, fuck, I'm back at my life. The nothingness in my life right now. And I just had to like kind of pull it together and just remain positive and be like, you know, this is gonna, this isn't gonna last forever. I'm like, everything just came back. No job, no money, no moving how I want to move and do what I want to do and making plans because I don't know if I'm gonna be working. You know, I'm not dating right now, so I'm just like, fuck, I'm lonely. Like everything just like, damn, my vacation's over. It just, it just sucked the air out of the room for me. So yeah, I had a, I'm on the highway driving, having a whole breakdown yesterday. But I feel better today. I helped a friend of mine's move, and I had a friend come over last night, and TJ talked to me, my friend, about some silly stuff last night. But, you know, I'm reminded that I am loved and that, you know, this isn't gonna last forever. But y'all, I was not in a good place yesterday. Up until my friend came. Now, obviously, I missed my mom and my dad and my brother, but I just was like, I if if I would have had my medication and my MacBook and my podcast equipment, I wouldn't have came back.
SPEAKER_03Cause she was down there scamming niggas in Atlanta.
SPEAKER_00I was like, you know, I'm just I ain't gonna lie. I'm lying, I'm lying, y'all. Cause you know, the fans be watching, I was not scamming. I'll be fresh as hair look the fans watch. Oh man.
SPEAKER_03Well, I'm glad you enjoyed, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. And you know, we talked. Yes, we have our conversations, and I'll say this. Something is coming. It is coming for you. Um you know the predicament I was in weeks ago. Um something is coming, and it's gonna be better, it's gonna be str you know, it's not gonna be stressful, it's not gonna hurt your body, and you're gonna clock in and you're gonna clock the fuck out.
SPEAKER_00Two. Hey.
SPEAKER_03Hello.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. But um, how this is going on? Oh, you oh, it's my channel.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. That was really it. I mean, I did a lot of good eating, a lot of shopping.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Shout out to my boot Allie who hosted me. And shout out the fat, well, hold on, wait. Fat Matt's Rib Shack.
SPEAKER_01Ooh.
SPEAKER_00Let me make sure. I always say either Fat Matter Fat. Yeah, it's Fat Matt's Rib Shack. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Come on, is that black business?
SPEAKER_00I think so. But it was like, what's so crazy is my mom was like, I used to eat there in the early 90s, like with my friends. It's been in Atlanta for that long.
SPEAKER_03For a long time. You know what you should have? I should have gave you. Y'all should have gone to Party of Five.
SPEAKER_00She told me about Party of Five. Yes. I think she's like.
SPEAKER_03She should've gone to Party of Five. Shout out to that whole family. Uh, shout out to Dreca, because she's the star. She's the star of that whole family. But uh, yeah, shout out to Party of Five. Shout out to what ribs? Uh, what's it rib shack?
SPEAKER_00Fat mats.
SPEAKER_03Fat mats?
SPEAKER_00Yes. M-A-T-T.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00Baby, I got some baked beans, Raffronese cheese, a half a slab. Oh.
SPEAKER_03Now, I hope I see Fat Mats, I when I if I ever come there, like I, you know, I can eat the pork.
SPEAKER_00They got oh, the chicken is good.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I'll eat the chicken, baby, with a side of baked beans and mac and cheese.
SPEAKER_00In in the words of um the last Mr. Big, baby, the crack tastes like ribs. Motherfuckers was banging. You're me. What do you say? Take that shit to trial. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Did you go to Prest? Did you go to Prest in uh Fibs Plaza? Did you go to Rashida's store?
SPEAKER_00Don't make me lock off again.
SPEAKER_03The only reason I say that is because Brandy was in there. Brandy was in Atlanta, and she walked into the store, and people were like, oh my God, that's Brandy.
unknownThat's Brandy. That's Brandy.
SPEAKER_03So they turned the station on her music, and Brandy was like, oh my God. She was like, I love this store. And she was like, you know whose store this is? Like this one of the um uh the employees, she was like, you know who store this is? She was like, who? She's like, this is Rashida store. She was like, she was like, Rashida, she was like, I love Rashida. They had her on FaceTime and like Rashida was in Houston because she has another store in Houston. Uh, I think it's Press Houston or whatever. But baby, when I tell you, them people was like, I know Brandy did not walk up in here with no fucking security. And I'm like, but you can do like she had her, she had her head scarf on and everything like that. So I was like, not her walking up in press and talking about, oh my God, this is Rashida's store.
SPEAKER_01I love that.
SPEAKER_03But no, I was just saying, you know, because Bibbs Plaza, you know, it's close to, you know, the other mall. Um, but it's it's it's more, you know, a little more, a little bougie.
SPEAKER_00We went to, shout out to Holiday Bar, had a great time. We went to Fat Matt. We went to uh uh Chef Rob's, my favorite Caribbean spot. Um where else did we go? We went to I went to Arimon, got me some good jerked salmon. Um we spent some time in Midtown. Um yeah, it was real good. It was a good trip.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Had a great time.
SPEAKER_03Well, my mental uh my mental check-in has been, I mean, I'm going to go see Spider-Man. I mean, even though I cussed the hell out of Marvel uh about 10 minutes ago, I'm still going, I'm still going to see Spider-Man brand new day tonight. Um, it's just I just feel like this week has been very like okay. Like I haven't really had any big um, well, our restaurant is about to open up in Texas. Yes. More, more on that, more on that, more on that. I can't really spill the beans just yet, but we do have an official date that is gonna open. Um, I'm so excited and so happy to be a part of it. And this is really testing me on like how um just like how franchising and building a restaurant and creating a restaurant, there's so many fucking parts. Like so many parts, and shit can go shit can go left, shit can go right. It it just depends on the week. And I just I'm learning a lot. Shout out to Juan, my mentor, for bringing me along. And, you know, just you know, me and Chips and Juan and Chantel, like these are all the people that are like, we're we're in it. We're the collective, you know. Uh, but shout out to them. And then us, a podcast network, I feel like um I'm talking to some people, um, some small production companies. Um, and you know, I'm talking to my boy Jonathan about, you know, some marketing. So, you know, I think things are moving slowly, but I like that. I don't like when things move. Yeah. I just, you know, I don't, I it's a marathon. It's a marathon. And when it you said what?
SPEAKER_00I said, okay, Nipsey.
SPEAKER_03Shout out to Nipsey Hustle.
SPEAKER_00Shout out to Nipsey Hustle, rest in peace.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Um, but yeah, it's a marathon. And I really want to continue just being in good spirits. I want to continue to keep uplifting my friends and my family. Uh, but don't get shit twisted over here.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_03I'll cut a nigga off in a heartbeat. So stop playing with me, okay? I I give niggas chance after chance after chance. Uh, I'm in therapy now. So you only get two chances. That's it. Um but yeah, like it's it's um it's going.
SPEAKER_00You said you you said you'll repeat. I don't think that you said you'll what you're cutting nigga off.
SPEAKER_03I'm cutting niggas off at two chances. That's what I'm I am. That that that first chance.
SPEAKER_01It ain't nothing up club, that bitch off.
SPEAKER_03Because listen, back in the day I used to give niggas chance after I used to give niggas ten chances before I cut the cut shit off. And it was like, well, most of the time it was my family, right? Most of the time, you know. Yeah. But now it's for anybody. Cousin, family, nigga, you getting cut off. You getting cut off. And a lot of times I have my phone on do not disturb. If I know a nigga trying to call me, baby, do not disturb.
SPEAKER_00Because I ain't got to be talking about nothing for real.
SPEAKER_03You ain't be you ain't finna talk about I ain't got no money. I ain't got no money.
SPEAKER_00Okay, Jennifer Lewis. I ain't gonna ask you for no money.
SPEAKER_03Listen, now I know y'all, y'all see me on these describing, but don't ask me for no money.
SPEAKER_00Ask me for the money. No, she mean.
SPEAKER_03Now she knows Jennifer Lewis something because she knows she loaded. Jennifer Lewis is loaded. She got that old money, she got that old money, and I know her, baby.
SPEAKER_00When I learned she developed the character for Effie and she got paid for that shit. Like she is the prototype for Effie. I said, that makes so much sense. Yes. I loved her interview with Tia's Messenger. I learned, I feel like I learned so much about her backstory and how she was like as a child and it comes into her career. But that damn story, I think we talked about it maybe a week or two. That story she told about Aretha and that fool and that played. Come on, Reethe.
SPEAKER_03She said that story still trips me out.
SPEAKER_00She said, come on, Reef.
SPEAKER_03She said, you know.
SPEAKER_00I didn't know what the fuck she was talking about, but I knew I knew what the fuck she was talking about. Listen.
SPEAKER_03Oh, God. But no, my my mental is good. Um, it's been an okay week. And um, yeah. So let's just let's get into Ashley's Corner.
SPEAKER_00So I'm gonna be a little sentimental today.
SPEAKER_03Let me mute my mic.
SPEAKER_00What do you say?
SPEAKER_03I said, let me mute my mic.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Jesus. In my favorite park's voice. Um now, so Ashley's Corner is a little sentimental. As I told you guys, um in my mental health check-in, you know, I just across the board of Tennessee, just sometimes I do feel energetically stuck here. But having my friends, my support system around me, like I haven't been working, but I feel like every day since I have not been working, a bitch has been booked and busy, whether I'm helping, I can be in somebody's spot to help a friend move. Can you help me pick up my kid? Can you do this? Can you do that? I've been exercising. I was able to go to Atlanta for six days and not have to worry about coming to work. So it's just like, yeah, it might not be the life that I'm in right now, but I thank God for the position that I'm in now, that I can bridge the gap. So if TJ called me and said, hey, I really need you to do this for me, I can do it without any constraint time. So, and then just the update I received today about how the job, the previous job, is kind of struggling without me. Oh, my titties get hard thinking about it. I'm so happy. So, yeah, shout out to me and my heart nipples. But yeah, just use Astra's corner basically. Use your friends, you know, not use your friends, but like utilize those friendships and just kind of be in the gap if you can.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know, despite whatever time that you're having, having those people by your side that understands you. And I can't lie, when my mom goes back to work, that's gonna hurt my heart. I've been spending every day with my mom. So having my mom utilizing my friendships has been very therapeutic for me. But yeah, and then the second point I asked this corner is, yeah, my nipples get hard when I hear that people are suffering without me.
SPEAKER_03As they should. As they should.
SPEAKER_00Y'all should have been quiet on the creek.
unknownShh. Quiet on the creek.
SPEAKER_00They being quiet on the creek, baby. They're suffering even the VA notices. Uh huh.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_03You might be getting a you might be in uh friend, you might be getting a phone call in a couple of days.
SPEAKER_00And all I'm gonna say is, how was that audit?
unknownUh uh.
SPEAKER_04Don't let me call Porsche.
SPEAKER_00Don't let me call Veteran Affairs.
SPEAKER_03Oh, wait, wait a minute. Wait a minute, wait a minute, friend. Let me tell you something.
SPEAKER_00If they call, if they had a I had a few drinky drinks today. I'm really trying to keep it cute and keep it quiet on the creek, but listen, if you're listening, I know what you've been doing. And don't forget, I know where the bodies are buried. So don't fuck with me. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Well, let's just get into our list, guys. And trust me, she does know. Um let's get into this list before we uh spill some more uh deadly tea.
SPEAKER_00Um baby, I mean I was yelling on the creek, though.
SPEAKER_03Bonnets, do-rags. All right. Getting to our source, Ebony. You head. What Tuskegee's ban on bonnets and do rags says about the black college experience. Here's the key takeaways. Tuskegee University will ban bonnets and do-rags to enforce professional dress codes. Dress code reflects respectability politics, influencing black students' appearance standards. HBCUs face tension between cultural expression and conforming to dominate workforce norms. Okay. When I first heard about this, when it was first in the news, I was like, let them niggas just wear what the fuck they want to wear. You know what I'm saying? But then it dawned on me. It dawned on me. When you have a beautiful, handsome black student running around here with motherfucking bonnets and do-rags, anywhere and fucking everywhere. What are we doing? Why are you at the fucking bank with a fucking bonnet on? Why are you at a fucking daycare center as an assistant with a bonnet on? Why are you complaining at work that you cannot put a bonnet on? So I started to think and I said, Well, TJ, do you go to work with a fucking bonnet or a do-rag on? No. You don't. And I think that's what Tuskegee University was trying. I think they did it in. I think they did it in kind of like when they first announced it, announced it in the wrong way. But I feel like they're getting better at explaining, like, hey, you niggas are going out trying to get jobs. You niggas are going out there trying to get corporate jobs. Okay? You're not going working for a black restaurant or a black corporation because we it's not it's not a lot of them, all right? Let's be honest. But at the same time, but at the same time, why are we doing that at our own establishments?
SPEAKER_00Thank you, thank you, thank you.
SPEAKER_03Why are we doing that at our own establishments? Because at the end of the day, you want professional help, professional customer service. You should look professional. I I'm gonna tell you right now, I don't want no nigga helping me with a fucking bonnet on. I don't want no nigga changing my car with a fucking bonnet on. What the what are we doing? I do not, I don't, I just, and I know people are gonna sit up here and say, well, they're just trying to control us. No, nigga. They're trying to help you get a fucking job. They're trying to help you because as soon as you walk in there with a bonnet or a fucking do-rag, you already know they're looking at your black ass because of the color of your skin.
SPEAKER_00Here's the thing.
SPEAKER_03That's already strike.
SPEAKER_00Here's the thing. I'm gonna do you one even better. Since everybody won't tell, oh, respectability politics. Half of y'all niggas wouldn't even show up to your grandma's house with a bonnet or a do-rag on.
SPEAKER_03Hello? I would never.
SPEAKER_00Half of y'all, yeah, because hats wasn't allowed in the house. When you get your ass, even if your ass is staying at home all day, in my house it wasn't, put some clothes on. Whether it's your lounge clothes or something cute and comfy, you're not walking around with your bonnet. And that was in my house with my parents. Make yourselves look decent. Take that shit off. You're not finna go to bed. Or my personal favorite, y'all won't go to in the house of the Lord. Because, like TJ said, since y'all wants talking about everybody going to church and everybody super duper, y'all wouldn't show up in the house of the Lord. Y'all grandmamas will beat y'all asses coming in God's house with a bonnet door to ground. God says come in your art, which is very true. But a lot of y'all have it, and y'all just choose not to wear it. And I think as a millennial, Gen Z takes shit too far. They have no bounds. Even a few years ago when the whole thing with the office sign run went viral. Why are we wearing club mini skirts to work? No. There's certain shit you wear at club at the club, and there's certain shit you wear to work. I've wor I work with some Gen Z, and some of the shit I'm y'all be coming into work with big ass holes in y'all jeans, just looking just fucking nuts. Bonnets and we're customer presenting, like customer facing. No. No. Why should I see your fucking bonnet on and you're sitting here talking to the head of HR.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You're talking to clients. You're have some pride about yourself.
SPEAKER_03Like I shouldn't be seeing your titties get hard. I shouldn't be seeing your ass cheeks. I shouldn't be seeing the crack of your ass.
SPEAKER_00It's even in the elementary schools that have that rule. No, y'all, mom, it takes my my mom works on post for the school system. She's a bus aide. And even she says she was like, I hate to see a mama, two, three o'clock in the afternoon. You don't work. You come there with those same staking ass pajamas that mom to know to pick your baby off the bus. You see your coochie, your ass front. You don't got no panties on. And you just look sloppy walking around picking up your kid in front of other people's children. Have some fucking pride and self-respect. Dress the part.
SPEAKER_03But then you got other, then you have these niggas, these group of niggas talking about, well, you know, them other people do it. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
SPEAKER_00I don't care about nobody else.
SPEAKER_03Hey, I don't care about nobody else but us.
SPEAKER_00Exactly.
SPEAKER_03I don't care about nobody else but us. That's it. What I'm saying is, you need to put some fucking drawers on. You need to put some panties on. You need to put a shirt on because your titties, your titties are, they're large. And I don't want to see your nipples, okay?
SPEAKER_00Exactly.
SPEAKER_03And for the niggas, put some fucking boxes on. Okay. Nobody wants to see your dick print, my nigga. Nobody wants to see the crack of your ass. Nobody wants to see, like, come on, bro.
SPEAKER_00Listen.
SPEAKER_03You applying for a job and you're wearing fucking sweatpants. What we doing?
SPEAKER_00Insane. Insane.
SPEAKER_03And then, you know, they get, well, shit, y'all done. Y'all just no, nigga, we're trying to help you. We're trying to help you.
SPEAKER_00I'm sorry. I people, and and let's just, just on a personal level, like if I meet a nice looking man, and I'm not saying I'm the best looking thing, on a typical day, I'm gonna have on a nice, I love a good one-piece romper or jumpsuit. Even if I don't have on makeup, I'm gonna make sure I maybe got a bun in, a nice wig on. I keep my nails done for the most part. I try to keep my eyebrows and my skin clear. I try to keep a little lip gloss on. Even if I'm on the wild, okay, let me put on a nice pair of fablicated leggings, nice t-shirt or romper jumpsuit. Go run my errands, bring my ass right the fuck back. I might even throw on a pair of crops, but it's like if I'm meeting a nigga in the wild, you got on pajama pants and a do-rag, oh, this nigga don't give a damn by his appearance. Like he, that's dusty behavior. Like at my big age of 30 to something, I'm like, no.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00No. Yeah, and it's even as a woman, like, if even if we just go on out to like I helped me and my friend, we moved today. I helped her move until we cleaned her apartment today.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00We went to get lunch and we drank some lunch. We both had on, like, you know, we put on our little tennis shoes, our cute little leggings. Nice little show. All right, girl, let's go grab some lunch and come on back. But still, like, you think I knew you finna go to someone with me with a bonnet on and just looking just any old type of way? Half of you motherfuckers won't even put on undergarments. No. I don't blame them. I do not fucking blame them.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Because at first I was like, why are they doing? And then I was like, mmm. I get it. I get it. Because this, the younger millennials and the Gen Z, and it don't even be like, I'll tell you this, it'd be older millennials that do shit like this now. It'd be older millennials and Gen X.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03So we can't just, I ain't gonna sit up here and say it's it's younger millennials than Gen Z because these niggas, they get it from somebody, right? They get it from somebody. And I just think we need to be more accountable for what we wear, right? We're not talking about any other race of people. We're talking about us because we, we as black people gotta hold our own accountable. Pull your fucking pants up. Why are you, first of all.
SPEAKER_00Why are we still sagging? Do y'all not know?
SPEAKER_03No, that's jail culture. That's jail culture. You do know that, right?
SPEAKER_00That's jail culture.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I know a lot of them know, but I'm just saying, I'm stating this right here on the podcast. You do know that's jail culture. That's literally attacked it. Like if you're in jail and your pants are sagging, that is like, oh, that's entry into my ass. Sorry. I I mean, I just y'all need y'all need to know this. Y'all need to know this. And you know the reason why why I know? Because I listen to different people and and I read books. I read books, I read the history, I read, you know, and I listen to certain people that have been in prison. And that's what the niggas tell you. When niggas around there sagging, it's because they either been or they're they want. That's jail culture.
SPEAKER_00I just never understood the first of all, I don't want to see your ass. And half you niggas ain't clean, so like it's been it's been a few times niggas sag and I'm like, oh, that's a street mark. Disgusting. Like you got a small street mark in your drawers, bruh.
SPEAKER_03Hygiene is, and I know we talk about this every other podcast, but goddamn.
SPEAKER_00I bet that stinks. It stinks in there, buddy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Sweat, odor, please.
SPEAKER_00It's like I told this, I remember I was arguing with this straight man, a heterosexual man, a few years ago, and he said something smart. I I think I like dissed him or something.
SPEAKER_03Ooh, DJ Envy?
SPEAKER_00What do you say?
SPEAKER_03I said DJ Envy I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_00I shouldn't have probably he said something crazy and I kind of got back with him. He was like, fuck you, name that bitch. I'm like, I'm not gonna argue with a nigga that has two pairs of fucking boxers. Please. The same black and white Ithaca pair and them red hands. Go to hell.
SPEAKER_01I have one or two pairs of boxers, do you?
SPEAKER_00Yo, you got your fucking bitch. Oh, I had that man call me every fat nasty bitch. I was like, I don't get it. But guess what? I got a pair of panties and you got two pairs of boxers, bitch.
SPEAKER_03You clean.
SPEAKER_00Huh?
SPEAKER_03Your hygiene is what?
SPEAKER_00You just asked to lick my asshole, sir. Now I'm a fat nasty bitch because you mad. Okay. Call me a beluga.
SPEAKER_03Bro, I these niggas is bipolar. I'm sorry. A lot of these niggas need to, and I I'm gonna say this every time. A lot of you niggas need therapists. Y'all need a therapist. Y'all really do. Because the shit that y'all, I seen this one video, this girl was walking, and it's like, it's, you know, I don't know why we normalize this, but she was walking down the street and dude was like, hey, sexy, and she was like, she just kept walking. And he said, Hey, I'm talking to you. And she was like, I heard you the first time. She said, but I'm thank you. And she kept walking. He said, You ugly, you ugly anyways, bitch. And she looked and she said, Oh yeah, you really need a therapist. And I said, Oh. She said, she said, and she was on, like she was on live. She was like, This motherfucker, nasty ass nigga with one tooth talking about I'm ugly, but bitch need a whole fucking jab.
SPEAKER_00You just call me sexy. You just call me sexy.
SPEAKER_03You just call this woman sexy, and then you're gonna say, You uh come on now.
SPEAKER_00How many times this happened to me? Like a dude, hey, or just came off super just like rude or disrespectful, or said something off the wall, and I'm just and if I don't respond how you want to how you want me to respond. Fuck you then you fat. The thing with me is oh, fuck you then, you fat bitch. Sir, you just asked to eat every ounce of my cootie cat. Now I'm a fat bitch. I was a fat bitch when you asked me.
SPEAKER_03It's mental. It's mental.
SPEAKER_00I don't have to answer.
SPEAKER_03Like these these niggas is weird, bro. These niggas are weird. This is what you call weirdos right here. Weirdos. Niggas that do not know how to to understand rejection. They don't know how to handle rejection. And that is dangerous. When you meet a nigga like that, you either gonna have to, you need to get the fuck out of Dodge or you're gonna have to kill him. Simple as that. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You're gonna have to beat their ass or something because there are niggas out here that do not understand the word no. They don't.
SPEAKER_00The last time I called a fat bitch in public, it was the year 2023. I think, and I and I know it was a knee bearing when I did this. I was with one of my friends. I said, What's your last name? He told me. He was like, fuck you then, fat bitch. Because he came and he was like, Oh yeah, I know. Just real disrespectful, because it's a whole it's a myth that, you know, just because I'm a big woman, we are down to do anything, and we had the best pussy because we big. Which is partly true, but you would never experience that, right? So he made the comment, he was like, Oh, I know you got some good pussy on you. We was in the club. I was just like, Hey, you won't be getting none. Well, fuck you then, you fat bitch. I said, What's your mom? I said, What's your last name? He told me. I said, What's your mom's last name? He told me, also, oh, it's the same name. See, me and you can't relate. I have my father's last name. Have a nice night.
SPEAKER_01Oh, he wanted to write me up.
SPEAKER_00Wanted to beat my ass. I'm like, you ain't gonna beat my ass though. And that yeah, and I was just like, what's your dad's last name? Whole different name. Oh.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we can't relate. We can't relate.
SPEAKER_00We can't relate. I have my father's last name. Thank you.
SPEAKER_03Now move the fuck along. For shit getting hectic around here. When I said move the fucking God.
SPEAKER_00I knew you were a mouth breather. Girl, wait, sir.
SPEAKER_01Sitting there.
SPEAKER_03Well, we we we stated our opinion on the Tuskegee University. Um, we just want y'all to do, we just want y'all to really get out here and get jobs, honestly. We want y'all to be looked at as professionals. And I know it comes across like, well, why we gotta do this and why we gotta do that. Well, it's just it's just and we're not saying, we're not saying, we're not saying change your energy or change how you act. It's just going into these places looking like you actually want the job.
SPEAKER_00But even if it's not job, just you going, you you won't go to a club with a bonnet or do rag on. See, some of y'all are different.
SPEAKER_03Um, some of these niggas will go to a whole ass restaurant with a fucking bonnet on and sit there with their fucking bonnet on and they do rag. And I'm just like, what the fuck are we doing right now? Really? You couldn't put for ladies, y'all couldn't just put, like, you couldn't put on, like you couldn't braid your hair or like put your the put, you know, put, you know.
SPEAKER_00Put your wig on.
SPEAKER_03Put your wig on, you know. And niggas, I don't know why y'all run around here with the fucking bonnets on, nigga. Come on. What are we doing?
SPEAKER_00I see more niggas and white people in bonds. Oh, okay, let me hush. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Moving on. Nashville data centers. Um according to News Channel 4, a source, um, Metro Council passes first data center regulations in Nashville. Here's what changes. The vote follows weeks of public pressure, including opposition to DC blocks proposed data center next to the Nashville Zoo. Um, what happens next? Okay, the new rules aim to control the size, location, and operations of future data centers to come. They could also affect DC Bloc's controversial proposal next to Nashville Zoo. So just to kind of get everybody in, right? Uh me and Ashley live close to Nashville. Um I'm from Nashville. Born and raised, nigga. Fuck you talking about? Um DC Blocks is trying to put a data center next to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. Um, first of all, why the fuck do we even need data centers? Second, second, second. That would be a absolutely fuck no. Because guess what data centers need? They need water and lots and lots of water.
SPEAKER_02Water.
SPEAKER_03And guess what data centers also do? They push out fucking chemicals. So you're gonna put a data center right next to a fucking zoo where animals are there. You're gonna be walking through a goddamn zoo seeing this fucking data center in the backyard of it. And these motherfucking animals, we don't know what it's gonna affect or how it's gonna affect the fucking animals. It could kill all the animals, it could make them motherfuckers rabit, uh rape it, or what whatever.
SPEAKER_00Rabit.
SPEAKER_03Rap.
SPEAKER_00Listen to go miss like the monkeys and never found it. And they said shit about the monkeys. I ain't said shit about the fucking monkeys.
SPEAKER_03But what I'm saying is you don't know. You just don't know. Because, you know, they love putting data centers, you know, right next to black neighborhoods or in black neighborhoods. You know, that's their go-to. Um, and they say, oh, well, you know, the Nashville Zoo is close to, you know, it's not a bougie part. Why don't you put a fucking data center in Green Hills, bitch? How about that?
SPEAKER_00Franklin.
SPEAKER_03Why don't you put why don't you why don't you put a data center in Franklin? You heard me? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00What you say? I said, put it next door to the Marshall Blackware House and shit, bitch, want them so bad. Use our water supply.
SPEAKER_03Shit. Shit. I mean, it's just ridiculous. It's they're doing this shit on purpose. And people are like, well, no, no, no, bitch, they're doing this shit on purpose because they think they know. If no one says anything about it, they're gonna fucking get away with it.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Like that black man said on that fucking video. I want y'all to, it's like an Instagram video. This black man said, the reason why the shit, why the world in the United States is going that sh to straight hell is because black people ain't doing shit. Because guess what? We told y'all bitches we weren't doing shit and we're not doing anything. Now look at you.
SPEAKER_00Lord forgive me for laughing, but niggas just had niggas of America and we like, look, didn't I we feel I feel like old boy from Minnesota? You know you fucked that, don't you? Look. Y'all done tried uncertainty smile.
SPEAKER_03Y'all y'all done tried every tactic in the motherfucking book. Y'all done tried every fucking tactic in the book. Bitch, we not doing it.
SPEAKER_00Listen, I told my mom we're not doing it. I said, Ma, you know they were called ginger ale. She said, I don't give a fuck. I'm still drinking because I'm tired. I said, you know what, Ma, you goddamn right. She said, you know what? She said, you and in my head, I'm like, they trying to kill your favorite bitch.
SPEAKER_03When I tell you that man, I need to put I need to post that video on the um the Femin Reunion Network page because that man was motherfucking serious. He said, and this is the reason why. And but we ain't we ain't gonna do shit. We not doing it because we fucking tired. We told y'all dumb asses in 2024 we were done, and guess what? Y'all running around here scrambling, talking about where the black people at, bitch, on vacation.
SPEAKER_00Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_03As we should be.
SPEAKER_00I'm line dancing in my area booth.
SPEAKER_03I because why why do we have to tell y'all every fucking century, hey? You motherfuckers are stupid. Hey, you motherfuckers are evil. Hey, what are y'all doing? We're done. Do what you want to do. Do what the fuck you wanna do. Don't bring that shit over here though. Don't bring that shit over here. Cause black people know how to survive. And we've said this from the Eon side. Black people are going to survive. Y'all the ones, y'all, shit, y'all lose five or ten percent out of y'all fucking 401k. Y'all be trying to, you know what? Let me say. This is y'all be y'all. No, fuck it. Y'all be wanting to kill y'all selves.
SPEAKER_00Jesus.
SPEAKER_03Y'all be wanting to kill yourselves. So no, black people, listen, black people know. Black people know. What's going on with the what's going on? What's going on with the markets? Bitch, shut up.
SPEAKER_01She said, shut the fuck up.
SPEAKER_03Now all the white people mad because they can't eat lettuce. They can't eat their fucking salads. Oh well, eat some salads then, bitch. Go on it. Go ahead and shit. I don't give a fuck.
SPEAKER_00I don't give a fuck. They try to fuck niggas over. Oh, the garlic powder, you know what? Let me just start making my own.
SPEAKER_03Girl, when they said garlic powder and ginger ale, I said, oh, they trying to, they're trying to get to the black.
SPEAKER_00I said, oh, y'all really trying to get niggas up out of here. My dad's like, shada, I'll buy that motherfucking brand of bacon no goddamn way.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00At this point, niggas, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Baby, baby, I looked up all the brands of ginger ale that was, you know, ginger ale, and I looked up all the brands of garlic powder. Baby, I still got my my garlic powder from last year because you know, garlic powder, it lasts about two, three years.
SPEAKER_00Oh, not in my house, child. We, ooh, girl, definitely go through.
SPEAKER_03We have, we we get like we get the big one from Badilla. Yeah, we got that big fat one. So it goes it goes.
unknownYeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we do, we do garlic powder, onion, um, we do I mean onion.
SPEAKER_00I would say this the staple seasonings in my house. If I had to choose ten, it would be garlic powder, onion powder, hold on. Garlic powder, onion powder, accent.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. Gotta have an accent.
SPEAKER_00Listen. Um, Norse chicken bouillon.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. Okay. Um, lemon pepper. Some type of like mesquite barbecue seasoning, because my dad's a griller. Right. We use a lot of cinnamon in my house. That's cinnamon.
SPEAKER_03Staple. Yes.
SPEAKER_00I would say vanilla extract. And you make some seasoning.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's the pastor.
SPEAKER_03And I'm gonna add, I'm gonna add something else, smoked paprika.
SPEAKER_00And you don't do it for the taste, you do it for the color. Shout out to sock duck and baby paprika don't taste like nothing.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I love us so bad. Um, well, um, yeah, back to the Nashville zoning. I mean, the zoning legislation bans data centers larger than 500,000 square feet, requires smaller facilities to go through a special uh exemption process and public hearing, limits projects to heavy industrial areas and restricts them near homes, schools, and parks. So they can't build them nowhere, really.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_03In no in Nashville. Yeah. Well, too bad. Suck, suck ass. Shame gun. Um. Uh-huh. Major new limits. Um, next up, we gotta talk about this frame because it happened here in Nashville. Um Usher and Nashville.
SPEAKER_00They do not get much time on this child.
SPEAKER_03First of all, listen, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00She just won a clout. Go ahead, baby.
SPEAKER_03I was just gonna say, like, we had a like, you know, I went to go get my um uh my barber shave today or whatever. Um, and they was talking about it in the fucking uh um in the barber shop. They was like, why did that girl get up there? Like, why did she get up there? She won't go, like, it just looked like she had a stank face. And I understand why Usher was like, if you ain't gonna do nothing, don't get your motherfucking ass on the stage. Don't get up here. There are tons and tons of girls that would have loved to get on stage with Usher.
SPEAKER_00Love to get on, like they were literally girls that was there that was like, oh, they could have picked me.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. So my thing is this I just felt like that, I just felt like she wanted clout. I felt like she did that shit on purpose. Um, and she's like, oh, well, my man said I couldn't. Then why did you go on stage, baby? Why did you go on stage? You should have just stayed, like, that was someone's opportunity to get to be in the moment with Usher. For five minutes. You know what I'm saying? For five minutes. You could you could have said when he picked you, you could be like, uh-uh, girl, you go on up there. That's all you had to do. Baby Usher was pissed.
SPEAKER_01He was fucking pissed.
SPEAKER_03And you know that nigga from Tennessee. You know that nigga from Chattanooga.
SPEAKER_00So that's I talked to a few niggas from Chattanooga, never again.
SPEAKER_03Never them niggas is crazy.
SPEAKER_00First of all, I really want y'all niggas to get a a a good conception. Everybody, oh Memphis, a nigga from Chattanooga is a whole different brick. I talked to a dude, I said, Well, I can meet you. He's like, No, don't come up here, I'll come to Nashville. What? He was just like, outside the aquarium, ain't shit here. And I thought he was lying. I went, I was like, Oh.
SPEAKER_03He's right.
SPEAKER_00Y'all got hoods. I was just Chattanooga.
SPEAKER_03Y'all, you, oh yeah, nigga. That's why I be like, y'all be like, oh, well, you know, Memphis and the nigga. Don't go to Chattanooga and get lost in the fucking hood. When I tell you.
SPEAKER_00Don't go to the far down Jefferson Street after a certain time.
SPEAKER_01Hey, oh well.
SPEAKER_03Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Nigga, we went to Chattanooga. This is years, years ago. We stopped in Chattanooga, right? Because we was going to Atlanta. We stopped in Chattanooga. We stopped at this gas station, and it was a bunch of niggas. Like niggas.
SPEAKER_01Niggas.
SPEAKER_03And I was like, oh shit. I was like, hey, I was like, damn, I ain't never seen this for in chat. Okay, whatever, right? So we get out of whatever. Dude was like, hey, I like that ride, though. And I was like, oh, I was like, yeah, thanks. You know, he was like, yeah, them wheels is bad in the motherfucker. And so nigga got in his car, dipped out, right? We in the gas station. This another nigga come in talking about, hey man, hey, that motherfucking pump ain't working. That pump ain't motherfucking working. And the gas attendant's like, I done told you. And I said, oh Lord. I said, see? I he.
SPEAKER_00Oh my watch. I said, I had that too, not quite like that. I was in the store. We were in like a convenience store and this guy walked us. He was watching me for a time. He was like, You ain't from around here, is you? I'm gonna buy my little gatorine at Chewing Go. And I would get caught. And get the fuck out of here. Get the fuck ASAP after this shit. Yeah, chat.
SPEAKER_03Listen, you play with. You you when you travel borderline Atlanta.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Mm-mm. But then people are like, why? I'm like, I'm not surprised. I'm like, you know how? I mean, that's literally, you go down, you get on the fucking interstate, you're going towards Atlanta. So all the niggas, there's there's a lot of niggas that live in Chattanooga.
SPEAKER_00And there's a lot of people that like worked in Chat, live in Atlanta, or live in Atlanta, work in Chat.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Surprisingly, even though it's like a two hour and a half, two hour drive, depending on how you drive.
SPEAKER_03So yeah. Um, get your asses off the stage. Uh, what's up, Fran? Oh, okay. Um, but yeah, um, I don't know if Usher is gonna be coming back to Nashville anymore. Um, Usher's recent concert in Nashville has gone viral after a woman he brought up on stage was asked to leave, and she's speaking up about the incident. On Friday, July 25th, stopped at his joint RB tour with Chris Brown. The confession singer invited a woman onto stage during the performance of Can You Handle It? And the footage from the show, and this is at Nissan Stadium, so you can only fucking imagine. It was sold out. A sold-out show at Nissan Stadium. Chris Brown was flying every goddamn way. Listen, it was sold out.
SPEAKER_00It was a nice clips I've seen. It's got dangerous.
SPEAKER_03And the fan footage from the show, Usher can be seen performing a sensual routine with the fan as she sits on a bed. She initially goes along with the single routine, but then her energy shifts. Appearing uncomfortable, Usher noticed and stops the performance, backing away before looking at the crowd with a miffed expression. I don't think she wants to be on stage. He told the crowd with a smirk before walking away. The shade room shared the footage on Instagram. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So y'all can go find that. It's up on the shade room, of course. Um, but yeah, this is from uh this is from Complex, uh Complex magazine. Uh but yeah, I don't think Usher is gonna be coming back to Nashville anytime soon. Y'all pissed him the fuck off. Um, but yes, next, let's just keep it blackity black, right? Um let's talk about the top 20 HBCUs in America. Um, I'm gonna count them down. I got my photo right here. What the hell? I don't want my favorites.
SPEAKER_04Come on now.
SPEAKER_03Library. There we go. So coming in at number one, Spelman College in Atlanta. Number two, Howard University. I knew either one of them were gonna be top one or two.
SPEAKER_04That's fine.
SPEAKER_03Um or number three, Morehouse College. Number four, Tuskegee University, number four, uh, number five, Florida AM University. Number six, Xavier University of Louisiana. Shout out to them. Number seven, Hampton University. That's what Karen was talking about, um, Giselle, when she said you're broke core from Hampton University.
SPEAKER_01Fanga.
SPEAKER_03Um, number eight, North Carolina AT State University. I heard that school be popping. Um, Morgan State University. Number 10, Delaware State University.
SPEAKER_00First of all, wait a minute. Delaware isn't even a real state. I want to go visit Delaware just to say if it went. I didn't know niggas was in Delaware.
SPEAKER_03Nigga, niggas is in fucking Delaware.
SPEAKER_00Is it?
SPEAKER_03It's niggas in Delaware. But you never hear, like you never hear about it, but it's niggas in Delaware.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Uh number 11, Bowie State University. Bowie. Oh, Bowie, sorry.
SPEAKER_00Maryland.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Bowie State University.
SPEAKER_00I'm really too here. I hear about it, but then I don't like I'm still on the Bowie State for my uh masters.
SPEAKER_03Mmm, gotcha, got you. So number 11, Bowie State University. Number 12, Virginia State University. Let's go. Uh, number 13. Claflin. Clacklin? Claflin University. Number 14. Huh?
SPEAKER_00You know where Claflin is? Where's Claflin?
SPEAKER_03That's where?
SPEAKER_00South Carolina. Orange Bird.
SPEAKER_03Come on, South Carolina. Them some niggas, niggas down there. Um, no, no, number 14, North Carolina Central University. That makes sense. Number 15, Jackson State University. Number 16, Clark Atlanta University.
SPEAKER_00Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_03Damn, all the colleges from fucking Atlanta made it, didn't that shit? Uh, number 17, Dillard University. Number 18, Elizabeth City State University. Number 19.
SPEAKER_00Hold on.
unknownWhat?
SPEAKER_00With um Diller, that's a private HBCU in New Orleans. It's one of the private HBCU.
SPEAKER_03Oh. So they bougie. Okay.
SPEAKER_00And Elizabeth City State, if you don't know, because it's one of the lesser known ones, but they're in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. So the Carolinas is heavy on this list.
SPEAKER_03Um, number 19, Lincoln University, Pennsylvania. Hello. And number 20, Prairie View AM University.
SPEAKER_00Big Texas.
SPEAKER_03Big Texas. Um, so when I seen the list, I was like, damn. I was like, this is not on the list in the top 20.
SPEAKER_00Um, Tennessee State University's not working at Tennessee State and being in the HBCU circuit, I'm not shocked. Our HBCUs have a lot of fucking work to do. And that's all I'm gonna say about that. This baby TSU was slipper cult. I don't want them niggas to kill your favorite bitch.
SPEAKER_03But I'm I mean, you actually work there, so you you have experience, you know what I'm saying? I'm surprised that I was on when I looked at this list, I was like, I was expecting Fisk University to at least be, you know what I'm saying? But I why did you say, no, baby, no. But I mean, Fisk University, they're trying to build a fucking data center on the fucking campus.
SPEAKER_00That that there you go. You got Fiske University, Tennessee State University, Maharry Medical College, which is one of the first, and I think only black medical colleges, then we have American Baptist Colleges, which is a theological, theology university. My brother went to ABC for a semester and then he left.
SPEAKER_03I mean, don't get it fucked up, Nashville. We we we have black colleges, black universities here. The thing about us is that our black universities, not only do we need funding, we need people to be held accountable.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because y'all be having y'all fucking plots in the funding, then y'all dismiss the students who was there fair and square. Y'all take off some and the not process fucking uh financial aid and y'all fight presidents, one of the Hello, hello.
SPEAKER_03So that's what I say. We have to keep our people accountable for their actions because you know, I've I've been it is not gonna be an HBCU anymore. You said what?
SPEAKER_00That was talks on the table for a very long time. Tennessee state losing this historical black college university status and being a public university ran by the whites. But I'm gonna be.
SPEAKER_03Say that again, baby, because you kind of broke up.
SPEAKER_00I said for the the the time I was there was in talks. Tennessee state was gonna lose that funding. It was so much bullshit going on. Tennessee state was about to turn into a public college ran by the whites. It was not gonna be an HBCU anymore. One of the fucking, outside of like Howard and Hampton, and Howard, Hampton, and Morehouse and Spelman, Tennessee State has one of the richest alumni networks and still is having this fucking problem. But that's all I'm gonna say about that. Because like I said, TSG was borderline occult. I worked there for two months. That was one of the worst, worst, this, worst work experiences I've ever had in my fucking life.
SPEAKER_03But see, you actually, my thing is this, you actually worked there, so you experienced it and you seen things that we don't know about, right? So again, like I said, as black people, and I'm talking to the whole black people, we have to hold our people together. Yeah, we have to hold them accountable. Fuck what they're talking about. Um, but yeah, that that is the top 20 list. Um, congratulations to all those black universities. Um, I did not know Dillard University was a private black HBCU. Um, thank you for that, Ashley. Uh yeah. Campus is gorgeous. Yes. Um, so moving on. Okay. Um I don't think we're gonna play the audio um because it is very heavy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, not today.
SPEAKER_03Um Nolan Wells. Uh we're talking about Nolan Wells, Nolan Xavier Wells. There's some updated audio. Um, do we have the woman's name who um she's an engineer?
SPEAKER_00She actually Yes, I think I have her name. Give me two seconds.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Um, and I'll keep going. But yes.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, I got it from another page because it kept getting removed from her page. I don't know who what her name is, no.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Okay.
SPEAKER_00I got it from.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Well, there was a black woman, and we're gonna find her name. We'll talk about it next week on the pod. Um, because it's just heavy right now. It's just a lot of information is coming out. Uh, I think today Ben Crump and the family of Nolan Xavier Wells um had a press conference. Um, and I'm gonna say this. Nancy Grace is on the motherfucking case. She interviewed Coon Officer Tatum. Um is it's fucking Coon. Um he interviewed that man and she was like, Well, did they take a polygraph? And he kept trying to say, Oh, well, it's not really like a polygraph, but it's like a verified, and she goes, So it's not a polygraph. That's what I'm like, that's what I'm asking. Did they take a polygraph test? He said, every one of them except Warren, and that was the one he had on his fucking podcast, took the verified lie detector test or whatever. And she was like, well, there's some miscalculations. Because out of all the boys, Warren didn't take the the verified test. Let me tell you something. I have called bullshit ever since I seen that fucking photo. When that photo was fucking released, and I told Ashley, I said they fucking did it.
SPEAKER_00We knew, yeah.
SPEAKER_03They they fucking did it. They are high because why would you lawyer up? Like, it just didn't make sense. We can't find Nolan, or he wanted it changed from we can't find Nolan to, oh, he wanted to stay on the island with the girl. Well, the girl left. Or was there even a girl?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03So I'm gonna say this again, like we said it last episode. Condolences to the Wells family. Um, but I want justice. I want justice, and I want the whole city and state of Mississippi. I want that I think they I think the parents are um uh suing um the state of Mississippi, which they should.
SPEAKER_00As they should.
SPEAKER_03Um I want that state to understand that you are not gonna get away with this. It's too, it's too it's too much going on. The lawyers know the um the coroner, the coroner knows the law of uh law officers, the la officers know the judges, the judges know. No. Like I said, I I m me being a realist and looking at the facts that are in place now, as of now, all of them are hiding something. They are hiding something. Because why his body got flown to DC? Why was there a slash in his neck?
SPEAKER_00His throat was missing.
SPEAKER_03So what does that tell like what does that tell the public? And for you white bitches, you white motherfuckers that keep on going on Nolan Wells um mother's page. Nurse's page, uh talking about, oh, I would never go there, I would never go there. Guess what? They're gonna find you. They're gonna find you, they're gonna find your page. Because none of y'all have ever been there. You're doing this shit. Because you know some of the boys' parents, or you know, you think you know, you don't know shit. You don't know shit. And quiet is kept. I feel like all of y'all are trying to cover this shit up, but it's not gonna happen. It's not gonna happen. Like Miss Rachel said, she said, oh, if it would have been the other way, we wouldn't even be going through this because those three black boys would have been in jail. It wouldn't even happen.
SPEAKER_00First of all, it wouldn't have it never happened.
SPEAKER_03It never because guess what? If it was three black boys and one white, guess what?
SPEAKER_00Everyone, one Hispanic, three black boys, one Asian, three black boys and any fucking.
SPEAKER_03Everybody would have made it home. Everybody would have made it home.
SPEAKER_00That's why I get so sick. And I've said it before too, and I thought I said, wait, that shit would never fucking happen.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It would never happen.
SPEAKER_00To lose a black life when it's four black boys versus if it's three and one to somebody else. Let's be fucking clear.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Like that's why I said I tell people all the time be careful. Because when you are the only minority, when you're the only fuck that, when you're the only black person in a group of others. You gotta listen to your conscience. All right, condolences to the family. Um we hope and we want justice on this podcast. So we will keep you guys updated. Um, and then we will talk about the audio next week. Um, because it's just it's heavy, it's a lot. Um, but yeah, let's move on to girl, Japan got a fucking flying car.
SPEAKER_00I'm not surprised. Japan and China, very efficient countries, they didn't live it in the year 3000. If it would work anywhere, it will work in Asian countries. They know how to act and follow rules.
SPEAKER_03Let me, and I just want to say this. I I really want to say this.
SPEAKER_00Um Tashi Wasta. Oh, you heard me.
SPEAKER_01I'm so fucking done with you.
SPEAKER_03Oh, shout out to Megan the Salian, goddamn.
SPEAKER_00Um He's coming to Nashville too. And if you want to.
SPEAKER_03When?
SPEAKER_00I don't know. I was like, where do I want to go? Baby, the only song I know about him is T Motomo Da T. He he did the co uh collaboration with Duke Deuce. I was like, I sleep wanna go.
SPEAKER_03Let me find this um this article. Cause you know I gotta find a source.
SPEAKER_04Don't start your shit.
SPEAKER_03I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_04Let me find this on this. Hopefully I saved it. If I didn't, I'm gonna be mad as hell. Okay, let me just type this shit in.
SPEAKER_03Yes, sir. Japan's first flying car is officially ready for market. All right, so Sony Sony. Of course. Sony has announced its plans to launch a revolutionary flying car by 2026, and we can't okay. It's hold on. Is this oh no? It's July 9th, okay. Um, and we can't wait to see it in action. The future of transportation is here, and it's looking more exciting than ever. From conceptual designs to real-world testing, we're diving in everything need to know. Cool, cool, cool. Um, yeah, and that's from Biz India. But yeah, I saw this and I was like, you know what? Of course. Of course, Japan or China or I mean, of course, they're gonna come out with the fucking flying car before America. You know, the wealthiest country in the world where we have no health care. We have no universal health care. But go ahead.
SPEAKER_00And half of our food sources is attainment. But anyway, I I would be terrified of what if this normal cars break down all the time. Yeah, I'm not getting this shit. What if one of them bitches just come flying out of the sky? I'm sitting driving out of my business and not get toppled because of fucking flying car and I'm dead. And all of a sudden I'm in the air, but I ain't in no flying carman area with Jesus.
SPEAKER_03Like when I saw this post, I said, let's, I'm gonna talk about this on the podcast. But then I said, I thought about it. Well, shit. A flying fucking car? Bitch, what I mean, uh how's that gonna be listen? Anything's possible.
SPEAKER_00What is this shit gonna cost?
SPEAKER_03How much is it gonna cost? And bitch, where is it going?
SPEAKER_00And how far can it go up in the air? Because you can't compete with air control now.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_00But my biggest thing is this, we doing flying cars, we still know how to cure for the cancers, PCOS, AIDS, well, HIV.
SPEAKER_03Well, you know, in the administration, they cut um, because you know, B poison, bee poison, you know, they found out that B poison was um it cured multiple forms of cancer. But you know who stopped funding for that? So this is what I say. Elections have fucking consequences. And your black ass is political. Every time black people say, well, I ain't vote, bitch, you are politics. Your skin is politics, nigga. You know you used to be property, right? You know your motherfucking ancestors used to be property, right? Everything that you do, you're a nigga. Everything that you do is political. And people get on my fucking nerves, bro. Niggas really get on my fucking nerves. Whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen. Okay. When they come get your black ass work in that motherfucking field, I guess it's gonna be whatever happens, happens. What you gonna do? I mean, some of y'all are really slow, and I think it it just baffles me how really slow you niggas are. And you won't listen. Like, we literally have all the facts. That black woman laid down all of the facts, laid down what she was going to do. And y'all still said, no, I ain't voting for her. I mean, black people did vote, but there were niggas that didn't. That's all I'm saying. Now you got Madani, he's in New York City. Actually, no, y'all niggas love y'all niggas love him because he's creating change. He said, hey, this is what your government should be doing. This shouldn't be no hallelujah moment, nigga. This is what government should be doing for you guys. Government works for you, and I think that's where we lost the plot. We don't work for them, they work for us. And if I have to tell y'all niggas that every fucking day, I will. The government works for you, not the other way around. You just don't get a vote because you're so-and-so. You what what are you giving us? What are you gonna do? What is your black business one-on-one, baby?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so uh I found out about this from watching the Epic Count, and it was so crazy because I need another, I wanted another like water bottle. I knew I wasn't gonna get in Stanley. I'm not. But it's a company that's what's going on with Stanley? Huh?
SPEAKER_03What's going on with Stanley?
SPEAKER_00I just hate the craze behind them.
SPEAKER_03It was Oh, yeah. Okay, I got you.
SPEAKER_00I always use the codest, but I want to I want a one that I can travel with. So it's a bottle cost supplement, but it's spelled S-U-P-L-M-E-N-T. It's a black bowl.
SPEAKER_03I see ads for them all the fucking time.
SPEAKER_00I didn't know it was a black-owned. It's a black-owned bottle and tumbler. They have like 24 ounces, 32.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00They have, I would do the 48 ounces, but they have like different sizes and shapes and you know, handles. They had the 14 ounces. So I was like, okay. Got different accessories and colors, and it's a beautiful, um, it's a beautiful company. I will I definitely want to support it. So I'ma get me a pink bottle. Yeah. Shout out to supplement.
SPEAKER_03I love that. I really do. I honestly I love that. Um honestly, I'm trying to think about all the black businesses that I saw this week. And there was this cologne company that I forgot to write down in my apologies because they, you know, just came out with their fragrances. Um, and I'm gonna order some. But I also read about tone.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_03So tone is black-owned. Yes, it is from Kaisoned, and I think someone else, but yes, Tone is a black-owned uh brand. They have fragrances, body wash, um, I think so, all of that. So shout out to Tone. Um, but yeah, I'm going to find that cologne um business, and I will get back to you guys with it next week.
SPEAKER_00Yes, Cameron.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, shout out to Tone, though. Um, and also shout out to Demetrius Harmon with You Matter. Um, he's been doing a lot of um, I don't want to say speak easy. He's been doing a lot of um uh conversations um at his local, at a local restaurant right now. And so shout out to him about mental health. Uh it's very important, very important in the black community. Um, so yeah, shout out to that nigga. So what we got cooking with the um what was I about to say? God damn it. Twice the fire.
SPEAKER_00Okay, check this out. This season of Mary at first sight.
SPEAKER_03Oh god.
SPEAKER_00I've watched it before, but it was years ago, so I got back into it because of this storyline. Nikki and Sean listen. Oh, it's so messy. But I love it. Love Island is over, so I needed something to take up my time. Um there's nothing else that's on. Abbott's not on right now.
SPEAKER_03Not yet.
SPEAKER_00Not yet, yes. Um, but that's what I'm watching, um, Married at First Sight. I've kind of been listening to what? I've been listening to the same things. Um Khalila. I've been in the Key Glock. Um mostly Khalila and Cleek and Key, damn it. Mostly Khalila and Klee Key Glock, that's about it. I've been into his newest album, um Project X, and then Khalia, Khalila's uh new Avatar album. That's about it.
SPEAKER_03Um well I've been listening. Well, I'll start off with this. I've been listening to Five on Fridays uh with uh Big Staples. Big Staples, big yeah, Ben Staples. Um That nigga is hilarious. So it's a radio show on Apple Music. Uh we're already three episodes in. He does it every Friday. He counts down five, like five different songs that you need to hear. But within those five songs, it's like two or three. Like he'll play the first song, and then two or three songs come that kind of like interpret that first song or that second and third. So it's like it's a whole radio like music show, but Vince the way the third episode he was talking about, Tyler, he was like, Yeah, man, you know, like, you know, we over here in America, we do shit our way, you know? We don't do none of that uh I'm colored shit, you know. You are colored, but you know, hey. And it's just like Vince Staples is one of those people, like, you think he's telling a joke, but he's being dead ass serious. He's he's dead ass serious. And those are the type of niggas that I like to be around. Like, I like to be around, like I you, you, you joking. They think you're joking, but no, nigga, you serious. You dead ass serious. Um, so shout out to Vin Staples, vibe on Fridays on Apple Music. Uh, but he introduced me to this song, this artist. Um, I don't know if you know him. Um it is Victoni. Do you know who that is?
SPEAKER_01Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_03So introduced one of the songs, and it's called Slick. And he released it July 8th, 2026, and it's had me in a fucking chokehold.
SPEAKER_00Now check it out.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I'm gonna send you the link. I'm gonna send you his song, um, but I'm also gonna send you Five on Five Days link as well, because the shit is hilarious. Um, and I think that's perfect. I think that show is perfect for events. I think um after you know, after Netflix randomly canceled his show after that interview with Z Way. Oh yeah, and that's another thing. After they canceled his show after he was on Z Way.
SPEAKER_00Sure did.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You thought we forgot about that Netflix? Bitch ass niggas. You thought we forgot about that? Nah, we didn't forget about that shit. See, that's why like these streaming platforms and the the media, like, it's just like, okay, go ahead and whitewash. Go ahead. Go do y'all. Don't don't be complaining. Don't be complaining when you ain't got that viewership. I'm telling you right now.
SPEAKER_00Even though they don't got it, they'll still let them continue to make it.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah. They've been doing this shit for years. So that's why I said we need to create our own shit. And I'm I listen, like I said at the beginning of the fucking podcast, feel away, feel away of whatever you want to about Tyler Perry. But Tyler Perry did his big one. He did his fucking big one. Say what you want to say, but he got a whole fucking studio. A whole fucking studio. I ain't seeing nobody else doing that shit. All right. Um I was about to say something else, but I said, I'm gonna keep that for next week. I'm gonna keep that for next week. But shout out to all the black shows that are on air. Shout out to all that are still on air. Um, shout out to Yaya. Um, I hope you do win that Emmy, man. Uh I I I think he he has a really good shot of winning that um best actor. Um, it was amazing. That show, Wonder Man, was amazing. Um yeah, what have I been watching? Well, I'm about to watch Spider-Man. Um, it's still fuck you, Marvel, uh, for Wonder Man. But I'm going to go. I'm gonna go see Spider-Man tonight. Uh what else? What else have I been watching? Oh, The Vampireless Thought. I'm stuck on that. Such a good series.
SPEAKER_00We're getting into that.
SPEAKER_03Speaking, speaking of black queens, they're coming out with the fourth season, and it's called Queen of the Damn.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_00Oh, oh yeah, I need to.
SPEAKER_03AMC did they listen, AMC did they big one. First of all, hold on. We gotta talk, we gotta talk about like five minutes. Give me five minutes. Let me pull this shit up right here. Um, hold on, let me Queen of the Damn. Baby, when I tell you that monologue when she oh my God.
SPEAKER_00Amazing, captivating.
SPEAKER_03Oh Queen of the Damned AMC, hold on, AMC. AMC renewed his interview with the Vampire series for a fourth season, uh, rebranding the show title to Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned. The announcement was made at San Diego Comic-Con following the season three finale. Oh my gosh. Um, yeah, and that's a source from variety. Um, yeah, I cannot wait. I cannot wait. Because this is now is going, she is mother. She is actually mother of all vampires. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And the fact that she is But Anne Rice, well, Anne Rice died. Anytime you talk about Queen Akasha in her.
SPEAKER_03It's gotta be black.
SPEAKER_00Has to be black.
SPEAKER_03It has to be black, yeah.
SPEAKER_00There's no ifs, ands, or buts about that.
SPEAKER_03Aaliyah, let me let me tell you something. Aaliyah, my god.
SPEAKER_00She played it beautifully.
SPEAKER_03She uh she was an amazing Queen Akasha. She was just only getting started, bro. Only getting started.
SPEAKER_00I would love to see her. I wish that they will, but I don't think they will, just out of respect for her family, and just but the film version of The Matrix with her in it is that gay. Yeah. Oh even though Nona Gay did a beautiful job. Yes.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, that is uh I I don't I I can't think of anything. Five on five, uh five on Fridays uh would have been staples. Y'all go listen to that on Apple Music. It's every Friday. Five amazing songs, plus a lot a lot more music. Um, The Vampire Lestock, Queen of the Damn is coming out, uh, got renewed, fourth season, going to go see Spider-Man. What else am I watching? That's it. Um, besides working and podcast network, and then, you know, the restaurant opening. Um it listen, I can say this. I love doing this podcast. 96 episodes in, Fran. This is our 96th episode. And I have loved every single episode. And I can't wait until we get to the 200th and 300th episode.
SPEAKER_00Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_03Um, hopefully we will have uh by then, let me tell you something. By that time, we will have a small production code. I'm telling you, okay? Even if I got to call motherfucking Don Lemon, my damn self, two, three times a day. Hey nigga, hook me up. Hey nigga, what you got? Hey nigga, what we doing? Because he's with the shits now.
SPEAKER_00He won't say what he wants on his platform. He's with the shits.

Um and we got something special with me, you, and Diamond coming soon. I don't know when we're gonna film it, but we gotta film it soon.
SPEAKER_00We do, we do.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00So for next week, I'm gonna ask her what she has on our agenda.
SPEAKER_03Because I know that's gonna be a crazy episode. Because I want Diamond's opinion on certain things and what she thinks. Yeah. But yes, we are 96 episodes in. Shout out to everyone that is still supporting us and loving us. And, you know, me and Ashley have very different opinions on certain things. We don't agree on everything, and that's why I think you guys love us. Uh, because baby be corrected me on a lot of things, especially when it comes to no, no, no, for real, for real. If I'm being real, when it comes to black women, right, I can't give that perspective. I can't. And I I will never try to, right? All I can do is take up for black women and try to understand, you know, I was raised by my mom and my daddy. So having a black mama in my life, right? Having aunties in my life, having a grandma, you know, who basically they raised me and taught me never to put a hand on women, right? And taught me how you should treat women, I can only take all of that knowledge and use it on this platform. And having you as a black woman giving me advice, giving me, you know, well, this is how we see it. I love that.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So with all of that being said, um, do you have anything, baby, before we head out?
SPEAKER_00No, I don't. Not this time. But it's been amazing on this journey, and I can't wait to get to 100 and 200 and to continue hitting our mile markers. So Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, niggas. I don't know. Next week y'all might see me with uh a good old fade, uh, you know, a haircut or something, because this, this, oh my God.
SPEAKER_00Caesar.
